The Bone Houses | Emily Lloyd-Jones

The September #OwlCrate box was fantastic, and the book went right onto my #Screamathon pile!

It‘s hard to see, but the trinket tray is a Frankenstein quote. I love that they included some gothic horror merch. Hopefully the weather cools down at some point soon so I can wear the fingerless gloves before Halloween! 🎃👻

LibrarianRyan I love those gloves. they will get such a work out at work. I put the coffee in my #BasicWitchSwap as I don't drink coffee, and josh told me to keep the pumpkin soap I originally purchased. 6y

The May #OwlCrate box was fantastic! I love the Darker Shade of Magic pillowcase; I will finally be creating a pillowed seating area this week with all of my book themed pillowcases!

I‘ve been using the water bottle frequently, I love the Gaiman quote. Looking forward to reading this book! #OwlCrate #OwlCrateSociety

LibrarianRyan @4thhouseontheleft lots of complaints about an “ugly” pillowcase or another pillowcase (I love them I use them on my dog beds) and a passport holder when so few people can travel internationally. 6y

Shadow of the Fox | Julie Kagawa

I‘m struggling to get into this one. It has all the elements I usually love: inspired by mythology, interesting magical creatures, and a mischievous and likable main character. Not sure why I keep putting it down, and can only get through one chapter a day. #OwlCrate #OwlCrateSociety

Gissy I enjoyed it, but it is a simple YA fantasy novel but it has funny scenes. I think the worst part is those foreign words because you have to see the glossary at end constantly but at the you are going get use to it. 7y

Amber & Dusk | Lyra Selene

Just getting around to posting my December #OwlCrate box! I love that they did a planner again, like last December! The tote is fantastic too! Also includes a necklace, candle, and ornament. Looking forward to catching up on my OwlCrate books this year! #OwlCrateSociety

Another #OwlCrate catch up post, this one is October 2018. And what an amazing box! We were out of town when this arrived, so it is the first time I am actually looking closely at it! I love everything, including the choco-mint truffle tea that I forgot to include in the pic, and both of these books are definitely high on my TBR in 2019!

Girls of Paper and Fire | Natasha Ngan

Playing catch up today includes organizing the last few month‘s of #Owlcrate boxes!!, this is the November box, which I was lukewarm about. I 🖤 the 💀 planter, which is already home to one of our succulents! The bracelet craft will come in handy over winter break, and the book looks great, but I don‘t think I will be using the decorative pillowcase.

Has anyone tested out the wax seal kit? #OwlCrateSociety

My Plain Jane | Jodi Meadows, Brodi Ashton, Cynthia Hand

My August #Owlcrate should be arriving in the mail today, and I realized I never posted July‘s awesome package!

I wish I owned my My Lady Jane, but this looks like an awesome follow up, and will definitely be on my #screamathon TBR. Just like many of the items will be incorporated into our Halloween decorating!

Plus, a little Dustin! He‘s my favorite!! (I took off the keychain part)

LibrarianRyan I‘ve been a member since almost the beginning and it was really only this year that the exclusive covers have been a big deal. And sometimes uglier for it. I think one of the first was Sandcastle empire which was about a year ago 7y

I am excited about both of the books that came in the May #OwlCrate box! Not as much with the accessory items, I will probably be selling the Sarah J Maas wall hanging and Six of Crows art print, but I do love the bookmark and OOP pin! #OwlcrateSociety
