So many great books this year! It was very hard to choose from the top 3 here - they were all so good 😍
I loved keeping up with this bracket all year as a way to track my favorites #readingbracket2022

Soubhiville Yes! I really loved this one too. 💕 1y

I had a pretty great reading year but hands down Tehanu was my favorite. I honestly thought Defensive Baking would take it so it was kind of a surprise how much I enjoyed Tehanu. I had a really great time filling out the #ReadingBracket2022 so I'll definitely try this again for 2023.

Almost forgot to post my final #ReadingBracket2022
For a while there I was thinking it's gonna be hard deciding which would be my favourite 😉

100% NOT surprised that this was my top book of 2022, considering that book 2 is on my highly anticipated list of 2023! @AllDebooks @TrishB #readingbracket2022 @chasjjlee . It was a close decision though, but I have definitely prioritised Shannon over Towles for my reading this year!

Agatha Christie: A Very Elusive Woman by Lucy Worsley won for December.

TrishB A worthy winner 👍🏻 1y
AllDebooks Not surprised at all, it's an epic story. Guess what I've just added to my #bookspinbingo list that now qualifies for #AuldLangSpine 1y
Meshell1313 Ooh! I just started it! Already feeling it will be my 2023 fav! 1y

I read so many good books this year. It was helpful, and fun, to have a way to narrow them down.

Thanks to @Pogue for recommending my #1 book (#lmpbc)!

And thanks to @chasjjlee for the layout!

#readingbracket2022 is in the books! This was such a fun challenge for the year and I loved doing it! “Remarkably Bright Creatures” came out victorious, Marcellus was just such a sweet character that I still find myself thinking of whenever I see an octopus 🐙🧡🪸

Thanks for setting up this bracket challenge @chasjjlee - I would love to play along in 2023 🥳🍾🥂 Here‘s to another year of great reads with this GREAT community!

A round up of December/2022

This month I managed 3 books (had a busy and cold filled Christmas period) including my #DoubleSpin

This year I have been quietly filling in the #ReadingBracket2022 with both versions having The Goblin Emperor coming out as my top pick of the year 🥰

Next year I am most looking forward to reading Tom Felton‘s book, and trying to get more off my physical TBR and continuing with a couple of challenges! #NewYearNewBooks

KateReadsYA I hope you have an amazing new year and you read lots of 5 star books:) 1y

This was so fun! My top pick for Dec was the new Armentrout book but trying to pick between my top 3 from the entire year was hard. I went with the one that I‘m still thinking about and it felt right. I discovered Mafi this year and read almost all of her books. For sure, Mafi and Gong were the two authors I discovered this year and fell in love with. Can‘t wait to see what 2023 brings!
