I actually remembered to post! 😂 My favorites for the month were Please Pay Attention and Creaky Acres

Sumner approaches this mind-numbing, terror-inducing event with sensitivity. The violent episode lasts for just a few pages but the feelings of hopelessness, loss, and continued trauma continue on throughout the story. Thanks to Edelweiss and the publisher for an advance copy.

This was a truly amazing read. It invoked so many emotions in me. It shows what happens after the events of a school shooting. It is truly thought provoking, it shows that the damage doesn‘t end after the shooting ends. The damage continues and spreads like shrapnel. I highly recommend reading this book. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
