#LittensLoveSJM #ToG Book 2 Ch.40-42: yikes! That witch sure was scary! Here‘s hoping members of her clan don‘t seek revenge #knowthatisgonnahappen — I feel that she probably did sell Dorian‘s secrets - probably to Roland. That‘s gonna be dangerous later. Finally we got some answers as to how the King grew so powerful so quickly. I‘m sure he has a wyrdkey - but does he have the riddle and does he know what it means? ⬇️

StayCurious Is one of the keys locked in that place in the library that Celaena found earlier? Or are they spread around further apart? 3d
Butterfinger It's starting to remind me of Crescent City with the multiverse. I know the group hasn't read it yet, so I won't spoil it. It's just giving similar vibes. I hate Chaol grieving. He's beginning to see that he's misplaced his loyalty. 3d

Roary47 This was a big eye opening chapter for Chaol, and I am finally accepting I‘m not on #TeamChaol anymore at least not with Celeana. I love that there is an adventure of the search for the Wyrd keys. 🤩 3d
BarkingMadRead Omg that witch chapter was insane! 😳😳 3d
mcctrish I read the first 4 of these ages ago and the witch is the first thing I have remembered - I still like Chaol @Roary47 but as an old 👵🏻 they all need to chill and focus on the tasks 😆 3d
Littlewolf1 I will say again that I‘m glad that she‘s no longer with Chaol. He consistently shows that his loyalty is inconsistent. I‘m so glad we finally getting some Witch chapters, and I‘m excited for Celaena to start looking into the ward keys 3d
Littlewolf1 @Butterfinger remember that SJM made a post that for a book 6 of ACOTAR, you should have all books in all three series read. 3d
Butterfinger @Littlewolf1 I did not know that. I knew it was called MaasVerse for a reason. 2d
LiseWorks Yep, that witch was intense.. 2d
5feet.of.fury I‘m kind of irked that she‘s still protective of and friendly with Dorian but cut off Chaol. But I agree with @mcctrish they‘ve got to stop focusing on their relationships and start being truthful & figuring out what‘s really going on. 2d

#LittensLoveSJM #TOG Book 2 Ch.4-6: I liked in these chapters how we got glimpses into Celaena‘s past - we learn a bit more about Sam, and a few other characters from the underworld Celaena was a part of. Poor thing is so against being a part of something bigger - she revolts at the thought of fate. That she could be something bigger than herself. She just wants to get her freedom and hide out for the rest of her life. ⬇️

StayCurious And who can blame her after what she went through. But life has other plans and deep down she knows it. Are we sad that she‘s pushing Dorian away? Are we worried about the trouble Roland will bring? Do we like Chaol for her? I‘m torn. 2w
LiseWorks I'm sad she is pushing Dorian away. Roland is trouble. 2w

mcctrish Realistically Chaol is a better partner and could maybe help her in her quest, Roland is bad news. The triangle grates on me but truthfully they are all too young to be thinking about love matches 👵🏻😆 2w
Read4life I honestly go back and forth between Chaol and Dorian. Roland seems like trouble. 2w
StayCurious @mcctrish I was surprised Chaol had such an important job at 22 2w
mcctrish And he‘s never killed anybody until Cain #notbelievable 2w
Butterfinger I think of them as three friends who care so much for each other. Goodness, she was getting mad at that doorknob, but it reminded me that we didn't have any more positive scenes of magic since those flower petals at the opening of her tent. Other than Nemehiah was doing. 2w
mcctrish @Butterfinger yes, on all counts. So the magic in/around the castle was worked before the ban and is stronger so still present. Those onyx rings the king and Perrington wear must be similar magic. I wonder if the hit list contains anyone who has magical inclinations ? 2w
Littlewolf1 @LiseWorks I agree, he was always there for her and, i know she is doing it to protect herself and hime, but its leaves him so confused. 2w
Roary47 I agree with @mcctrish I think Chaol is a better more logical partner for her and I‘ve been #TeamChaol this whole time. I noticed that she stated she did miss Dorian as a friend. @Butterfinger I laughed so hard at the doorknob. It reminded me of the doorknob in Alice in Wonderland (So I love the meme). Roland is definitely someone we should keep our eyes on 👀. (edited) 2w

#LittensLoveSJM #TOG Book 1 Ch.37-39: Nothing happened at the Yule ball-except dancing and romance and a love 🔺 getting more complicated. Celaena was expecting something to go down - perhaps Nehemia didn‘t strike because she didn‘t want to hurt her friend - Celaena was not supposed to be there. Or Nehemia is innocent 🤷‍♀️ I believe Perrington is up to no good - of course. And something is up with Kaltain. Time for some answers to this mystery!

BarkingMadRead So many mysteries! Also. I‘m #teamchaol 4w
mcctrish Is Nehemia really unwell ( like Kaltain) or faking to get away? Why are the other champions invited and not Celeana? Is it really that they are afraid of her? #teamchaolforever 4w

5feet.of.fury @BarkingMadRead @mcctrish yessss Team Chaol. Excited to see why Nehemiah has been holding back how much she knows to Celaena 😬 I‘m thinking the sickness is something to do with the summonings. 4w
LiseWorks There is spme conniving going on woth Kaltrain 4w
Laughterhp If this book was written now and not in 2012, I feel like it wouldn‘t be a 🔺. She‘d get with both of them 😆. Or maybe I just read too much smut. 4w
Read4life @Laughterhp 😂😂😂 4w
Roary47 Also #TeamChaol @BarkingMadRead @5feet.of.fury @mcctriah I‘m thinking Nehemia is just being used somehow. Like they force her to be the creature and Kaltrain is the mastermind. She is up to no good! Either way I hope something is solved soon. 4w

I was excited to read this as I loooooved the ACOTAR series, and it didn‘t entirely let me down. I enjoyed all characters, (#teamchaol) and the plot was well paced. The only disappointment was it didn‘t leave me with the same burning need to read the next book as ACOTAR. I am absolutely going to read the next one, it just didn‘t quite manage to bump my next read from the top of the list! Can anyone else relate? 😅

Book #6: Chaol is back! I know a lot of people don‘t like his character, and honestly, I get it. He‘s an ass most of the time. I also think he‘s the only one that‘s reacting to all of this wild stuff going on in a semi-typical way, so I find him much more relatable than others. Only 1 more book to go! #teamchaol

Book #3. I feel meh about Rowan, but I LOVE how magic is finally being included more in the general storyline and really in the “worlds.” I‘d still die for Chaol. Also love Manon, a new character that seems to have depth. #teamchaol #teammanon

Book #2 in the series. Celaena isn‘t my favorite character (a bit shallow) but there are some people in here that I‘d die for #teamchaol. This book goes a bit darker than the last- a couple spirals out of control, and for a reason that doesn‘t seem believable enough for me, but ya know, it didn‘t happen to me, so who am I to blast her?

This was recommended to me by my dear friend @MeganMadsen. Little did I know this was a SEVEN PART SERIES. Worth it though. Very fun with a femme assassin, a world where magic is forbidden, and several YA love interests. #teamchaol If you‘re going to read these, though, don‘t do it through audible unless you plan on using all your credits and more!
