2✨ I wouldn‘t say this book is bad, but I was expecting more. It was a nice cozy read with a bit of a mystery. It seemed to repeat itself a lot, especially in when Lydia should tell her daughter the truth about her dad. I really enjoyed the atmosphere this book provided of small town life close to the ocean. #ReadYourKindle

Another book read for #FoodandLit Ireland. I like it. A widow finds out her husband was not what he said he was, and she and her daughter end up in a small village in a family cottage. A romance and finding of self in this book. #ISpyBingoMarch #Read2025, and there is a second book which I'll have to read #SeriesLove24 @Catsandbooks @Texreader @TheAromaofBooks @DieAReader @Andrew65 @TheSpineView

Mehso-so

A decent book about middle aged women who found friendship in a book club. Didn‘t hold my attention and it fell flat for me. The characters were annoying and their stories didn‘t add much to the whole of the book. Book #92 in 2024

A cozy story of heartbreak and love. A novel that had some depressing moments in the early chapters but far more interesting and enjoyable in a new location on the coast. An old house left by an elderly aunt woman who chose independence over love. The niece moves into the old cottage and finds town filled with the love of Ireland, beaches and really good and kind people. 4/5

Decorations at the hair salon combine Halloween, Fall and self-care which I did not think was possible.
