This was a fun spy story featuring a woman with amnesia. It starts really well and a some fun twists. It reminded me of the Findlay Donovan books. The audiobook was narrated well too.

Very quick thriller, or at least it felt like one having read it in one afternoon. Picked up for library book club. Karen crashes her car and finds herself with amnesia while charged for murder. Starts crazy, but gets more twisted as it goes along. I‘m new to this genre, so I‘m getting a feel. I enjoyed it, whereas I do see others comments on it being repetitive and flat at many points. Multiple unreliable narrators.

Blame | Jeff Abbott

Blame by Jeff Abbott is a uniquely plotted psychological thriller. It‘s filled with suspense, a neighborhood full of people keeping secrets, and a lot of suspicion. The deeper I got into this book, the less characters I trusted. Everyone was a suspect!

Asher | Carian Cole

This is the last book (so far) in the series and we finally get the whole story behind Asher, the lead singer, and his wife Ember. Tragic but hopeful. I loved reading their story and Asher's devotion to Ember was off the charts, pun intented. The only negative is the story dragged. At just shy of 500 pages I think it would have been better with 50 to 100 pages less. Despite this, I enjoyed and this is a great series. 3.5 ⭐️

Just as sexy and funny and thrilling and perfect on a #reread. I need more people to care about their romcoms as much as Ally Carter does, thanks. #contemporaryromance #romcom #actionromance

Lucas opened the urn and the wind cooperated as he shook it and the ashes swirled high—like in a movie about spells—before settling and disappearing at their feet.
A return to form.
We are all dust.
All dying.
All losing.
All forgetting.
We are all leaving all the time.
