For anyone marching tomorrow, Molly Crabapple designed these beautiful signs for a protest last weekend called #WritersResist.

If anyone is interested in printing any out, you can save or print them from Twitter, where she posted them: https://twitter.com/mollycrabapple/status/820510378799071232

Art is resistance.

"The responsibility for educating a young person is not the student's responsibility alone, nor is it the job of the teacher alone, nor is it the obligation of the parents alone. It is a responsibility that belongs to all of us. Because we all reap the benefits when our citizens are well educated." —Jill Biden

Let's all be the teachers.

Hooked_on_books I like that! (It helps, since I feel physically sick now.) 8y
JanuarieTimewalker13 I really have to listen to this. My neighbor is literally killing me every night with second hand smoke. Can't even use my kitchen at night. Plus, it's so dangerous in multifamily dwellings. I'm going to start a smoke free campaign. I can't believe people still do this to others and themselves. 8y

And in one last beautifully bittersweet farewell, I had my iTunes on shuffle during my unofficial #antiinauguration 5k, and this came on.

I'm going to miss President Obama so, SO much. (In case I haven't already made that clear today).

Also, thanks #Litsy for being a safe place with like-minded people for me to spend this sad day with. Being from Texas, other social media platforms do not provide that kind of comfort right now.

I'm going to attempt #24in48 this weekend on my way to and from the Women's March in DC. Of course it seems appropriate to queue up some #antiinauguration reads for this challenge so these are a few I've put on my list. I want more recommendations though! BTW, How Change Happens is a free e-book download you can get here: http://how-change-happens.com/download/
