A sinus infection has kept me apartment bound rather than at the #WomensMarch so I‘m taking solace in fierce female stories. I‘m halfway through the audio version of this anthology and couldn‘t recommend it more! It‘s literally a master class in books by black female voices. My #TBR is about to grow by a mile! 💪🏻🙌🏻🤗

I wasn't able to participate in the #womensmarch so I support it the best way I can, through books! I'm so thankful of the women who were able to go and use their voices and march. I'm currently working on some hats for aunts and cousins who will be joining up in the next one (because we have 4 years of this ass-clown)

I didn't know Margaret Atwood until last year, when I read The Handmaid's Tale, which is one of the greatest books I have ever come across. The more I learn about her, the more I admire her strength and the power she bestows upon all of us women through her words. You are a goddess, ma'am. You make me feel like one too. Today is our day. .

The #womensmarch #womensmarchsf the week before was my first ever protest. Welcome to the new normal.
