pickI read Howl back in college and didn't like Ginsberg's work or Beat poetry in general, but studying them further and disconnecting the meaning from the shocking and raunchy poems, I really like them. A lot of them are unfortunately still relevant today. the various poems are about: the government's mistreatment of the working class, anti-consumerism, and anti-war.
What is it about certain titles on certain days catch your eye?
