I made a batch of homebrew last weekend. My first attempt in Colorado turned out really well 🍺. Trying a tripel this time. The recipe was a little off, so I had to make some adjustments, but I'm hopeful for a good brew🤞3 months is a long time to wait to find out, though 😬
Hi all!! Just checking in to let everyone know I‘m alive! After spending most of the long weekend (and very cold weather!) buried in research I am taking a couple of hours for self-care in the form of a book, drink, and a hot bath. I miss you all terribly and hope you‘re all doing well!! The end of this doctoral program can‘t come soon enough!
Day 13 - moon - this is my favorite beer during fall but I can‘t find it again. I had it a few years ago and haven‘t seen it since. Maybe is discontinued. If they sell it in your area you should give it a try!! I always look for it but never find it. #bluemoon #beer #moon

While the mystery was a bit meh I do love the setting of this series and I‘m curious about the secondary plot of the MC‘s past.
Any time I feel myself falling into a book slump, I just grab the next Sloan Kraus mystery. If nothing else, all the beer puns give me a good chuckle 😌
