@sebrittainclark sent this to me as part of my #bestof2020 box and I just finished it. I loved it! I‘ve been out of the dating game for a really long time but the relationship between Rhi and Samson was fantastic. There was romance, yes, but there was a lot of other things going on. Business, trust issues, standing up for yourself, speaking out, etc. I‘ve read a couple of Rai‘s other books but this one is my favorite so far!

Making choices for the best reads of the year is always so difficult for me! I somehow managed to whittle it down to a top 20 of 2020.

My absolute favorite of the year was The House in the Cerulean Sea, although I‘d say it was probably a tie with my reread of The Starless Sea, which isn‘t pictured here.

I‘d very much recommend all of these!

Soubhiville @AmyG @mom2bugnbee I‘ve read a couple others by her and Th City is the only one I actually liked. I did the audio, which was really well produced with sound effects and everything, and I think that‘s part of why I liked it so much. 4y

Does anyone need to switch up their bookmarks with every new read? I do. I adore bookmarks and choose which one just feels right to go along with the new book selection. Not sure why but this Jellyfish one just felt right for this book 📖

lynneamch Love Owen Meany. I think it's time for a reread. Hard to find the words to describe The Overstory. So much to unpack. He's given me a new understanding of our interconnectedness with nature. There are inreviews with him available online. He's incredible. 4y
