bailedI can't stand the narrator and I'm not emotionally invested in this book.
pickBased on a true account of a group of Mennonite women who were repeatedly drugged and assaulted by men in their community. The entire book consists of the women discussing whether to leave the colony or stay and fight back. Thought provoking.
pickA fun book about two young women biking through South America. They had a really easygoing relationship, and I enjoyed their sense of adventure.
pickVery interesting depictions of South America just before the millennium. Also good if you like motorcycles.
