I took a photo of this poem on a wall at the Tate St. Ives.
From her website: "Ella Frears is a poet and visual artist based in south-east London. Her pamphlet Passivity, Electricity, Acclivity was published by Goldsmiths Press 2018. Her debut collection, Shine, Darling will be published by Offord Road Books 2020."

OMG, what a bookshop this is! Check the skeleton. With a yum coffee shop and small selection of baked goods. Right near the US Naval Academy, you mighty even spy a person in a sharp uniform! I went home with 3 cards and the new Colson Whitehead.

One more somewhat #bookishtravel memory from last weekend in NYC, as the musical is based on this memoir. Such a great show, so well done, and I had no idea how many early hits she had for other performers. Highly recommend the show and now I must read the book!
Another #bookishtravel memory from last weekend: my mom Dorothy finally got to see Dorothy Parker's Round Table in the Algonquin Hotel.
Last weekend I took my mom to New York City to celebrate her 90th birthday, and although I couldn't find time to indulge in any #bookishtravel visits to bookstores I did get a thrill out of spending some time with this beautiful bookish Matisse.
Finally sharing a little #bookstoreporn from one of the most amazing bookstores I've ever been to, Ampersand Bookstore and Cafe in Sydney, Australia. Three floors of rooms like this, filled to the rafters with books and lovely spots to sit and read over a meal or coffee. I was tempted to ditch my family and try to hideaway in there! #bookishtravel
I'm going to Knoxville for a few days and I just wondered if any of you know of any bookish fun to be had there! Or even a great coffee or tea shop!
