pickI read this with the #LittensLoveACOTAR group which made it even more enjoyable. Much calmer than the other stories in the series. I think it‘s laid the groundwork for A Court of Silver Flames which the group has just started.

A late #BookSpinBingo entry. I wasn't going to do it this month, because I've been feeling too pressured with reading goals, but I've decided that sticking to the actual BookSpin list version will fit with what I'm trying to do.
So here's how I stand on #BookSpinBingo post-weekend. I didn't read as much as I'd like yesterday evening due to household annoyances, but I got a second bingo already, and I'm already partway through four more of the books. It's a month where this is working well for me, clearly! And I have plenty of time to read, which helps.

pickThis is the first cozy I‘ve read that didn‘t involve an active murder investigation. It was enjoyable enough, though. To be fair, the title implies that seeds of murder are planted, and this is the first book in this series. Books 2 and 3 do have murder investigations so I‘ll give the next one a try. This one did have mysteries, and in the process of figuring them out, an old murder is solved. A soft pick!

pickThis is cute. There are a lot of these types of books now but I believe this was one of the first. I don't know if I'm just over this genre but I do not feel compelled to read the rest of the series.
