pickSo I‘ve known a little bit about Todd‘s music for a while now. Recently I ended up doing a deeper dive one night while working. I liked some of his music, but I found my self paying more attention to the stories he told between songs. Then I found out he had this book of stories about his career. It ended up being a lot of fun, partially due to the tales, and partially due to the fact I ended up going down so many other rabbit holes.
pickAn angsty and sweet love story. And can I just say, both sets of parents are parenting goals!

I keep forgetting to post my #BookSpinBingo card for this month, but here we are! I've got started on it. I didn't get a bingo last month, but did at least read the #BookSpin and #DoubleSpin books; I think that's my aim this month, and anything else is a great bonus. Moving has my brain veeeery distracted and scatterbrained.

I just didn't care for the FMC of this book. It all seemed a little far-fetched to me. A med student has to spend the night on a psych ward, only a couple of problems with that: 1) her best friend from high school is on the ward & 2) her ex-boyfriend is also having to do a night rotation the same night. The story flips back and forth between the present and 8 years ago. Low so-so

pickSanta has a puppy named Peppermint Bark…how freaking cute is that? Chris & Holly (8 and 11 y/o respectively) find a puppy wedged in their chimney and soon realize that he‘s Santa‘s puppy, thanks to the fact that PB can talk but is only understood by those who have Christmas spirit. Chris, Holly, and her friend Ivy, work together to get PB back home to the North Pole. An adorable kids‘ book!
