Every now and then, I find myself yearning to read something silly and fun. Stephanie Plum always fits the bill and this installment in the series was no exception. There were a number of lol moments while Stephanie et al. worked on catching the bad guys. Excellent palate cleanser. 3.5⭐️
Book 5/50 #100DayProject2025
(July 8, 2025)

tpixie Yes she is!! I read to be of them in a row and got a little tired of them, but I am kind of miss Stephanie and her antics. I do read JD Rob‘s eve Dallas books that are also a pallet cleanser for me that are not near as funny. I just like going back to her friends. 2mo
PurpleyPumpkin @tpixie Admittedly, it‘s been some time since I last read a book in this series. I enjoy them, but in small doses. Reading each book in succession starts to feel exhausting! But when I‘ve been away from them for a bit, I find them quite enjoyable. I‘ve never read JD Robb, so I‘ll have to check out those books!😉 2mo
MemoirsForMe Sounds like a fun read! I have yet to read one of her books. 2mo

CarolynM Exactly why I still read them🙂 2mo
PurpleyPumpkin @MemoirsForMe You‘ve got lots to look forward to! So many books, so little time. 📚 2mo
PurpleyPumpkin @CarolynM 🙌🏽😉 I stopped adding to my collection a while ago. But I‘ll always go back to them when I need a pick-me-up. They‘re popular at my library so I‘ll still be able to read them. 😉 2mo

Stephanie Plum is working with Ranger to beef up security and find out who is murdering employees at Bogart Ice Cream. Lots of laughs for attitudes and misadventures.

It's been a while since I read a book from this series. My husband got the 1st 10 books and was laughing so hard, so I thought I would read number 7 as it was the next one on the TBR. This series will make you laugh out loud, plus two bingo spots #ISpyBingoApril @TheAromaofBooks #SeriesLove25 @Andrew65 @TheSpineView #Read2025 @DieAReader

3⭐ Fun as always. A little more danger in this one. And a more Ranger.

Well its actually 22 books but lets call it my #top24of24
Top half is literary fiction, bottom left is non fiction and bottom right is SFF. My top 3 are - North Woods, Cantoras and Other People Manage. I think Cantoras needs more readers and lots of Littens will love it. Other People Manage might just be a Me book. 💔

Centique Memory Piece made it in because it stuck in my brain even though i didnt love the last section - but probably a better book for that side slap it gave me 😂 8mo
squirrelbrain Great list! I *really* need to get to North Woods. I have Memory Piece borrowed from the library now so will start it very soon. 8mo
bibliothecarivs I want to read A Month in the Country. What did you think? 8mo

sarahbarnes Such a great list! I really loved Cantoras. And Remote Sympathy and Sorrow and Bliss too. 8mo
Ruthiella Fantastic group of fiction and nonfiction and genre! Yet another reminder for me to pick up 8mo
Centique @squirrelbrain i noticed so many people have North Woods on their list last year or this year. I hope you like them both. 8mo
Centique @bibliothecarivs its a beautiful book - enjoy! 8mo
Centique @sarahbarnes thank you Sarah 😘 8mo
Centique @Ruthiella i listened to the audio by Meryl Streep. I think thats a large part of why i loved it. Her voice was just wonderful 😍 8mo
TrishB Screenshot to have a closer look 👍🏻 8mo
TrishB So close a look I brought 3 😁 8mo
Centique @TrishB oh wow! Which ones? 😘 8mo
BarbaraBB Wow, such a great list! I loved some and want to read a lot of these! 8mo
TrishB Cantoras, Memory Piece, Other People Manage ? got used ‘excellent‘ hardbacks for just less than Qd each. 8mo
CarolynM Screenshotted. I‘ve got a few of these on my TBR shelf. Hopefully this year will be a better one for getting them read😬 8mo
Centique @TrishB oh great! What a good deal 🙌 Will be interested in your reviews when the time comes 😘 8mo
Centique @CarolynM heres to a calmer healthier 2025! Good that we have good books to look forward to. (And id wish for a more hopeful political scenario as well but cant even fathom what that wish would be 😬) 8mo
Rissreadswithcats I loved a few of these, have some looking at me and as always have added more to my list! 🤦🏼‍♀️🤷‍♀️🤣 8mo
Rissreadswithcats I realised on my top books of 2024 I forgot to add Tom Lake. I gave it 4.5 stars! Think I‘ll add it now. (edited) 8mo
Centique @Rissreads i know right, every year i add hundreds to my list! 🤪 8mo
Rissreadswithcats I also loved Tomorrow and Tomorrow. Probably should have been on the list too! 🤣 8mo
