Nothing to do with the tagged book! We had a Bowie day in London last year and this is hubby at the mural in Brixton, seemed a fitting end to the month which has been great fun!

TrishB Cat People (Putting Out The Fire) was a single released by David Bowie for the film 'Cat People in 1982.
The film is a remake of a film from 1942 directed by Jaques Lornier and based upon the book by DeWitt Bodeen.There was a follow up screenplay also written by Bodeen 'The Curse Of The Cat People 7y

TrishB The screenplay was based on a book called The Bagheeta which features people who can change into cat like beings when either sexually aroused or extremely angry.
The 1982 film starred Natassaja Kinski and Malcolm McDowell.The song was composed by Giorgio Moroder with lyrics and vocals by Bowie. A rerecorded version appears on the 1983 album 'Let's Dance'. 7y
