My ancestral world made a chocolate drink from cacao paste, water, and chili peppers. Sometimes spices and herbs like vanilla, allspice, cinnamon, and cayenne pepper were added (depending on tribe). This was drank cold. I really want to try this one day...I just haven't had the nerve.2mo

Years ago, I tried real liquorice (the kind made from the root) from an Australian company. And my mom favorited these butter cookies from Norway. Both came from World's Market before we realized that is was eco-green to support locally made.2mo
