Day 17: #coolcolors #colormepretty
I love having a book that has nothing but cool colors on the cover. Blues, greens and purples. I really enjoy these covers and the titles of this series, I have only started book one but I can‘t wait to get to this one and deal with the Gnomes (I freaking love gnomes hahah)

Eggs Gorgeous!! 7mo
Sunraven That is a really pretty cover, and the title is amusing, too. 😁 7mo
Sweetkokoro @eggs thank you 🥰 @sunraven yes I love the covers for this series, the title for the 3rd one is gonna be “The Princess Beard” I love the play on titles from other sources haha 7mo
Sunraven Ha, that‘s hilarious. That‘s definitely sounds worth a look. 😆 7mo

Sacre Bleu: A Comedy d'Art | Christopher Moore

“This is a story about the color blue. Blue is the sky, the sea, a god‘s eye, a devil‘s tail, a birth, a strangulation, a virgin‘s cloak, a monkey‘s ass. It‘s a butterfly, a bird, a spicy joke, the saddest song, the brightest day. Blue is sly, slick, it slides into the room sideways, a slippery trickster.”

ozma.of.oz Ahhh! Dealing with Dragons! I love that whole series! ❤️❤️❤️❤️ 7mo
Sunraven @chaoticgoodhufflepuff: Me, too! It‘s one of my all-time favorites! 🤩✨🐉 7mo
TheAromaofBooks And it's that gorgeous edition as well!! Those covers make me sooo happy. I'm also a huge fan of Dealing With Dragons - those books are so funny. My sister, who has had many cats, has named them all after various characters from the series. :-D 7mo

Sunraven @TheAromaofBooks: That‘s hilarious! Half the time when a cat sits on me and I consider getting up, I think about Kazul shedding Morwen‘s cats, and I‘ve also named things (not cats, though) after characters in the series. I‘ve read it soooo many times in my life it‘s now part of my inner workings, I think... 7mo
TheAromaofBooks I love it when books connect to you like that, and I love how different books connect to different people. I think it's what makes them magical! 7mo
Sunraven @TheAromaofBooks: To me that‘s one of the important things about reading, you know? That connection with something that you know other people connect with, too. (At the very least, the author has a connection to their own story, haha, so that‘s one invisible connection from the very start...) 7mo

Today‘s #colormepretty is #coolcolors!

The other three I‘ve talked about already, so I‘ll start with the Red Queen. I thought it was awful and refused to continue after book 2, and even that was an apprehensive read. There were too many cliches and characters I hated, so I just stopped.

Percy Jackson was what everyone was reading in middle school and I loved it. I haven‘t read anything after the main series, though.
