Finished last week for #ThematicCozies April #Sports theme, one of my two picks. I don‘t know that this one is really that sports related. The MC goes to Mackinac Island to help her boss‘s father with his bike shop when he breaks his leg & starts trying to solve a murder when he is accused. There‘s talk of a bike race but most renters are tourists getting around the no-car island. Still it was cute-maybe a little over ⬇️
Enjoyed this cozy mystery. Sophia's sister, Hannah, is getting married. There's 2 murders at the wedding festivities. There's pets who take part in the book. It's very family oriented as parents, ex's, and friends all take a part. A great series to read! 4⭐️
🙂 Happy Reading 😊

January 2025 Book #4
Book 2 in A Year Round Christmas Mysteries series. Read for #CBBC 2025 @Mommamanzi
I liked this book 2 better that the first one. Also predictable but we see more drama, town gossip with funny scenes, expected in cozy mysteries☺️I think I will try book 3⭐️
Welcome back @TheSpineView 😀
1. My favorite spring flowers are pansies. I love their little faces!
2. My mystery book club requested a flower-related cozy for our May selection. I found a “bunch” on cozymystery.com including the tagged book. Unfortunately, it‘s not available at the library, but look at that cover! I mean, a cat AND a corgi?!

I started this on audio- and could not get into it at all, but when i switched to reading I enjoyed it much better. The setting is Upstate NY and a year round Christmas Town- I thought that was funny because in College it felt like it snowed October until May in Utica NY. I liked the characters, was a little survey the killer and overall enjoyed the mystery.

The Bakeshop Mystery series is a favorite of mine & it‘s currently at book 20. I loved Book 5 as it‘s set in a #Chocolate festival in Ashland, Oregon where the series takes place.
I read it for review in 2017 & made the Mango Chai Latte & Chocolate Truffles with Coffee & Almond from the recipes in the back. https://kahakaikitchen.blogspot.com/2017/01/the-book-tour-stops-here-review-of_1...
I‘m posting one book a day from my massive collection. No description, no reason for why I want to read it.
