It‘s hot today, so Daisy decided she‘d rather sleep than perform her reading buddy duties while I finally started my KINGDOM OF ASH reread. I should be able to finish it by the end of the month, but I‘ve got a big, distracting project on the go and the book‘s pushing 1000 pages, so maybe it‘ll carry through into August. We‘ll see. I remember it being tough to put down at the denouement.

I forgot it‘s Friday! End of fiscal year at work, getting my daughter ready for sleep away camp and dropping her off, and houseguests are all mixing me up. Looking forward to free time next week.
