Always enjoy this author and #histfic based on true events, Paris, resistance. I see when I first posted this book I was drinking a French Merlot on a plane. Today it's a Mimosa with a bubbly "methode champenoise" from a Michigan winery. Continued appreciation for those who did and do resist in the struggle for justice, equally, and truth. #MittenLitten #FogCover #NewYearNewBooks @Eggs @Alwaysbeenaloverofbooks

I was looking through my #BOTM TBR stack yesterday, adding them to my #Roll100 list & it seems like several of them have a #FogCover or at least a foggy cover-vibe.

#NewYearNewBooks Day 7: #FogCover as one reads the air. Looking forward to reading this as part of our reading theme at GatheringBooks this year: #ReadYourWayHome2024 and #DecolonizeBookshelf2024
#FogCover #NewYearNewBook @Eggs @Alwaysbeenaloverofbooks From my TBR. I‘m fascinated with this project. The author found an old 1 line a day diary, became consumed with carrying it around and re-reading it, and eventually cut it up and rearranged the lines to make this short, poetic novel of reflections on life.
There's certain paintings that always seem to be used for certain types of books. For example, John Pettie's “Two Strings to Her Bow“ being used for Regency romances novels. William Blake's own portrait of Newton is often used on books about... Blake. 10mo
