I read this ages ago after seeing the TV movie with Sally Fields. The book has since been debunked as accurate work of nonfiction and honestly the depiction of child abuse was so horrible, I doubt I could read it again. In any case, it purports to be the true account of a woman with a #fractured personality.

Cathythoughts I too had a stronger constitution for abuse stories when I was younger. I worked with survivors for years ... I know I couldn‘t do that work now... This one sounds a particularly difficult read 4y
