Fantastic, loved it. I‘ve been collecting as many Dorrie the Witch books as I can find. This one was elusive, so I resorted to eBay and had to get a little paperback edition. All the others I‘ve found are the hardcover school editions like I read in elementary school.

This is a sweet cozy fantasy about 3 seer sisters who run a tearoom where they read tea leaves for their customers. Positive the tearoom and home is their future, all 3 are surprised to find themselves called to different pursuits just when it seems they most need to be united to the job of helping elder witches find their life tasks. Leans hard on the “failure to communicate” trope but is ultimately a satisfying story about finding your own path.

One thing I know when reading a C.J. Cooke novel is that it‘s going to be unique and it‘s going to be mysterious. This is no exception, weaving together two timelines of motherly love and devotion, magic and witchcraft, and finding your place in a world that doesn‘t always make room for you. Definitely recommend!! 🌟🌟🌟🌟

This is really freaking cute. I definitely recommend. If you like cozy fantasy.

I‘m not sure how this one got on my radar. 3 sisters are witches and run a tea shop telling their customers fortunes. They get enrolled by the head witches to help 3 witches find their task in life. They have to finish their task to not turn into ghosts once they die. The 3 sisters at the same time are following their passions but not sharing it with each other.

I got this because there‘s a talking raccoon. Was a little disappointed that the raccoon was a smaller part than I wanted. Overall, it‘s an okay read. Could have definitely used several rereads and strong editing, but the story was fun once you get past the odd sentence structure and dialogue issues, but not gonna lie….it takes a lot.
