Leftcoastzen It is a frustrating chapter! Maggie left to get the scowls, side eye , etc . Hard times for a woman. She‘s trying to stay strong. 11h
TheAromaofBooks Like I get why Maggie doesn't want to start over, but at the same time - it feels like she always purposefully chooses the hardest possible path for no real reason. 8h
Clare-Dragonfly Yes, very frustrating. Dr. Kenn seems to be a kind man. I hope he comes up with a solution that can satisfy Maggie‘s conscience without making the rest of her life miserable. 8h
eeclayton @TheAromaofBooks it seems like she's internalised the criticism of the community and doesn't feel like she deserves a fresh start. Which is the saddest thing in this book. 10m
