Ok, I have held off on writing this review for a while because I can‘t do this book justice. Patience is 28 and in her 7th year of marriage to Edward when she finds out he has been cheating. Instead of feeling mad or betrayed, Patience can only wonder why any woman would willingly sleep with any man if she doesn‘t have to! (For pleasure?! What‘s that!) and then she meets Philip and discovers that her marriage has been a void 👇🏻

As she tries to break things off with her husband, he can‘t bear the thought, asking her to #letmeloveyou But how can she go back to the life she now realizes wasn‘t at all fulfilling?? I laughed at this fabulously witty book and BAWLED as I read the last page. This is absolutely in my top 3 books of all time. ❤️ #anglophileapril 5y

What would you do if you lived next door to a serial killer but no one would believe you? So many twists and turns in this thriller by Swanson. I just love his books! I kind of get the #letmeloveyou vibe from Matthew towards Hen.

Reviewsbylola Omg this reminds me of the true crime book I posted yesterday. I don‘t want to give too much away, but let‘s just say that there were people that went to the police numerous times over the years to report a serial killer and were never taken seriously.
