Enjoyed this. A funny and deeper look at feminist issues (particularly body issues and sexuality) from a different angle. Probably TW: rape, even though i felt like she did a pretty good job of trying to do justice to the issue - she discusses in detail, so it might be too much for some readers. Read on my #nook account, started during #mountTBRreadathon. Have loved her on #GuiltyFeministPodcast as well.

When I first joined Litsy @DebinHawaii posted a 12 days of Christmas challenge about this book. I read the blurb and added it to my TBR.

Yesterday I finished it as part of the #mounttbrreadathon.

Cute, if somewhat unbelievable story. I'd recommend it more as a palate cleanse.

So, who did The #MountTBRreadathon hosted by @JenlovesJT47 and @Tiffy_Reads ? I tried, but I really only got about 3.5, maybe 4 hours in total. But this is more than usual, I have to say!!

Plus, I finished 2 books! So my new totals are: 11 TBRs of 14 books YTD.

I declare my first ever Litsy #readathon a success! I finished three books, and got halfway through Mr. Hanks‘ short stories. Yay me! 🎉🎉🎉

This book was amazing - I'm not even mad that its the only book I finished during the #mounttbrreadathon.

But, my husband has been telling me about the plot of the movie, and I am so ANGRY, bc they changed everything! Main plot points are almost all different, and different characters even have different powers! Why?!? 😣😲😠

I dont plan to watch the movie now, knowing they chopped up a book that would have made a fantastic movie!

Great reading weekend for #mounttbrreadathon. Not a dud in the bunch.

I could not put this down. Tense thriller with elements of the supernatural. This is a story of friendship, the power of the natural world, and magic that has moved through generations. Not quite sure how to characterize it -- Gothic Southern fiction with a historical horror element? Whatever you want to call it, it was a very compelling read. #mounttbrreadathon

I‘m a sucker for a good #map. Check out the bottom left 😂😂 So far this #BOTM pick is a hit.

This was a beautifully illustrated book and a hauntingly sad story. I didn't know much about this before jumping into it, but I couldn't put it down. The ending was not what I was expecting! Recommended for fans of graphic novels and ghost stories. 4⭐️

P.S. I'm shocked I actually got through 5 books this weekend for the #mounttbrreadathon ! 😱
