I have read this book at least once a year since I was 15. Rereading this book is like being wrapped in a big, cozy blanket or getting a hug from your best friend. It is comforting, good for my heart, and makes me happy. I never get tired of this story. Every time I read it, I smile, sigh and swoon from beginning to end.

Gah. I loved this so much. ❤️ I‘ve never read Pride and Prejudice until now and I‘m so happy I did. It was exactly what I was expecting and hoping it to be. I don‘t think I didn‘t not love Mr. Darcy throughout. Yes he was a bit of a jerk, but I loved him.

It is a cliche, but this is my favorite scene of the book. Of course, Elizabeth had to refuse him, he is awful up to this point. But can you imagine how difficult it was for proud, socially awkward Darcy to admit he had feelings for her. He must have been mortified by her response...I always feel so bad for him.

Jen_Reads @sammisho part of me wouldn‘t be able to forgive him with what happened with Jane and Bingly, but that one line where he tells her how ardently he admires and loves her I kinda melt a little. 6y
sammisho @sammisho I have "most ardently" tattooed on my shoulder, that's how much I love that line. I would have swooned all over the damn place and immediately said yes. I'm not as steadfast as Elizabeth. 6y

I‘m really enjoying the audiobook. I‘m going back and forth between reading and listening which considering the headache I‘ve got listening is a nice break from reading.
