A couple years ago I facilitated an author roundtable with some romance writers for a library event. One of the authors specialized in writing horror/romance and horror/erotica. I remember thinking at the time that it was an interesting mashup of genres, but definitely not my thing. Well...here we are! 😂 Friends, it most definitely is my thing! 🤭

Last night we hosted Katherine Center! 💕📚 She is an absolute delight as an author and person! So funny, kind, and down to earth! I had the absolute joy of going out to dinner with her before the event, and of course had a ton of her books signed! It was a great success!

I just picked up this new edition of Frankenstein at Barnes & Noble last night! Okay, if you are looking to purchase Frankenstein - this is the one to get! Not only does it have a cool cover and gorgeous page edges, but it also has the original introduction from Mary Shelley AND Polidori's and Byron's stories from the night Frankenstein was created! It's really awesome! 💕📚

Stephen King remains one of my favorite authors of all time! Even though his stories are mostly thought of as horror, many of them are also funny, witty, thought-provoking, and poignant! And some of his books are even life-changing - I'm looking at you, Rose Madder! 🩷

This was my first book by Rina Kent, and I really enjoyed it! She has a ton of books, so I'm excited to dive into the rest of her works. It's a dark romance though, so make sure you read the trigger warnings before deciding to start this one!
Ali Hazelwood NEVER disappoints, and this one in particular was fantastic! 🥰
