Reading Robin Wall Kimmerer's new book outside in the woods really is a perfect way to spend a Friday afternoon! 🌿☀️

This book came at me as sort of a surprise. A co-worker was reading it and mentioned that she thought I might like it. I had never heard of it before, but as soon as I started reading it I was hooked! Definitely helped cure some religious trauma, which I was not expecting! This book is phenomenal! If you have ever felt like an outsider, and especially if you have ever been a queer kid growing up in a super religious family - this book is for you!

I finally finished this, and I am just a roller coaster of emotions! Truly devastating and yet filled with joy and hope. This series has always meant a lot to me, not just because of how much I love Sanderson, but also because each book of The Stormlight Archive I have read with my bestie, @DaveGreen7777 !

So in the last couple of weeks I've discovered this manga and I absolutely fell in love with it! It's called The Summer Hikaru Died and while it's technically classified as horror it's so much more than that! And also, the artwork is absolutely gorgeous! 🥰

So I did a thing and ended up ordering this box set! I remember reading the first few books when they first came out and loved them! Now that a new book in the series is coming out next month I decided that it might be a fun time to revisit the series! 💕📚

I was at Subway the other day and saw this picture of a book made out of cheese hanging up on the wall and got WAY too much amusement out of it!😂📖🧀 A book made out of cheese?! What's not to love?! 🤤

I decided I wanted to reread books one and two in the series since the third one comes out next week! 📚💕 I'm super excited! Sometimes when you revisit a series you find it loses some of the magic, but in the case of this book every time I read it I am more and more amazed and entranced by it! I honestly think this is one of the best YA series I have ever read! 🤩

So I got the Barnes & Noble special edition for The Rose Bargain, because I liked the color change on the cover, but I had no idea that the end papers were so beautiful too! 😍🩷🌹

Despite the snow, I ended up going to Barnes & Noble over the weekend! 💕📚 TOTALLY WORTH IT! 🥰

I think this is Random Riggs first book since his Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children series! I was never a huge fan of that series, but this one is absolutely fantastic so far! Also, how did I never know before that he is married to another awesome YA author - Tahereh Mafi!? 😱 So very cool!

Pretty much obsessed with these covers! 💛💜💛💜 The second book (tagged) came out today, and I pre-ordered it to spite not having read the first one yet! 🤭 I have a hard time resisting pretty covers!

The absolute BEST day of the month is when the Book of the Month choices drop! 🥳🎉 This month was very interesting in that I definitely picked more from the add-ons section then from the regular monthly picks! Did I stay up until 3:00am just to order the Target special edition of Onyx Storm even though I already had the deluxe edition? Yes. Yes, I did! 🤭💕

Okay, so the main difference for the outside is that the Target edition has a different image on the page edges, has gold letters for the title, and is overall more metallic looking!
