Okay, so I'm on page 300 of my Rhythm of War reread, and considering I have the whole rest of the month to finish it - I think it's safe to say that I'm in the home stretch! 🥳🎉🎉🎉 There are a couple of touch and go moments there, where I was unsure about whether I would really be able to finish rereading this whole series before the next book comes out in early December! But I've totally got this! 💕🥳 And it has been such a fun adventure! 🥰

I have always been of the opinion that it's never too early to put up your Christmas decorations! So this weekend we got the tree up and it's looking great! ❤️💚❤️💚

I've been revisiting manga series that I loved back in the day, to see if they hold up still! Right now I'm reading Sailor Moon and Gundam Wing, and my nostalgic heart thinks they're just as good as ever! 💕📚

I saw this book in the bookstore the other day and could not pass it up! Look at how gorgeous the cover is! And the page edges! 😍 So pretty! And it's also not a book I have ever heard of before! Apparently it's a fantasy romance, and I'm excited to try it out!

Got done work early today, so I decided to stop by my local bookstore for some bookish joy, followed by an egg & cheese croissant sandwich and jasmine tea! 🥰🩷📚 Super yummy! 🤤 I needed this after such a crappy week! Happy Friday, littens!

I'm almost done with my Stormlight Archive reread! I just have to finish this last book! I'm really excited about Book 5 which comes out early next month! The quote above is one of my favorites from the series, and has brought me a lot of comfort this week.

I started using Litsy daily right after the 2016 election, because I was feeling scared and sad and needed a community. Despite how devastated I'm feeling today, I'm really glad that Litsy is here and that we all have each other! 💕📚

I'm starting this today, and I'm really really excited about it! I love all of Josh Malerman's other books, so I have high hopes for this one! Apparently, two of my co-workers couldn't finish this because they thought it was too scary! 😱

Last night my library hosted an author program which featured Wade Rouse, aka Viola Shipman! 💕📚 I got to run the whole thing which included facilitating the event, handling the Q&A portion, and the best part of all - getting to go out to dinner beforehand with him and his lovely husband! It was an absolutely magical evening!

For me, it would definitely be some of the Fear Street books by R.L. Stine. I remember not sleeping for days after I read 99 Fear Street! I recently revisited the series and couldn't stop laughing! It was so corny! 🤭

The trick or treat ice cream is back at Coldstone! The color is a little suspect, but it tastes like cake batter and is super delicious! 🤤 It also turns your entire mouth black for hours, so eat at your own risk! 😂

I cannot even believe how much I love this book! It definitely has a slow pace, so don't go in expecting many action scenes until closer to the end. But if you're looking for a very detailed, thought invoking, queer story that gives Lucy Westerna back the agency she always deserved - I think you will love this book as much as I did! ❤️❤️❤️

Well, littens, I'm super excited to tell you that today is the first day of my week-long vacation! 🥳🎉🎉🎉 Technically, it is a staycation! Which is honestly my favorite sort of vacation to take! Okay, I absolutely loved this! It was just so silly and fun, and sexy as well! It's got all the best parts of a fantasy story, but without any of the heavy thinking, if that makes sense? Just a really fun story that doesn't take itself too seriously! 💕📚 I'm really looking forward to reading the other books in the series!

I absolutely loved rereading this book! That being said, I know this book won't be for everyone. It was written over a decade ago, and they just re-released it with a pretty new cover! It reads very much like YA literature from the early 2000's. Aka - it feels very Twilight -y. 🤣😂 Now personally, for me, I am all about that vibe! It makes me super nostalgic and happy! So if that is also your vibe, I think you will love this book too! 💕📚

I read the first edition of this book in an ebook format when it first came out about a decade ago. They are re-releasing the series, in beautiful new hardback editions, so of course I had to splurge and pick it up! I don't even really remember much about it, so it's been fun to revisit it! 💕📚
