Took a Litsy break for awhile. Work was crazy then went through some personal stuff, but I‘m starting to post again!

I extended my Screamathon reading into November because work overtook my life in October. Had to post a review for this which I got from @bullbunny in the #ScreamathonSwap!

I loved this collection. I read Fragile Things first, but this was much stronger. Several of these stories will stick with me.

Avanders @4thhouseontheleft I did! It is so pretty, but it was a little more witchcraft (ie the actual craft) and history focused, and a little less whimsical, crafty, fun focused than I was expecting. I‘m sure that‘s 100% my bad for not reading “backs of books” though. 😁😁 4y

This book was great! It really sucked me in and couldn‘t put it down. Fleetwood‘s story was so frustrating, heartbreaking and heartwarming. It was such a crazy time and I can‘t believe the men that went witch-hunting.

Oh my goodness! @TheSpineView what a package! I could barely fit it all in the picture. I love everything! Two books I can‘t wait to read PLUS a B&N gift card, and tons of Fall/Halloween goodies. I finished one of my #screamathonswap gifts from @4thhouseontheleft 😃

Again I‘m not sure this book should be classified as horror—it‘s a sci-fi psychological thriller where not much really happens in the way of plot, but tension does build nicely throughout. Unfortunately, I figured out the ending way too early, so it lost something there. Still, it was a short read that kept my attention.

In 1893 a whole town disappeared leaving no trace of what happened.In 2009, a group of travelers will visit this town called "Abandon" each person has a different motive to visit it. Secrets, deception, treason, very graphic in violent scenes & if claustrophobia is your trigger I will not recommend this to you.End was from so-so to meh but I still enjoyed it, "ambition can take out the worse in people".3.75⭐️thanks @BookwormAHN #ScreamathonSwap

vivastory You should steal them when he's not looking. 😄 I have a Losers Club tote & Pennywise shirt, I've been eyeing a Pennywise keychain. Oh, I almost forgot... I also have the fall issue of Alamo Drafthouse which has a cover combining IT & Scary Stories. It's pretty awesome. 5y

vivastory It's pretty amazing. Muschietti is planning a version editing both chapters together. I need to get started on The Shining so I can read Dr Sleep too before the movie comes out. 5y
