My heart just broke over her mom seeing her writing as “wasting her time“ when she should be SEWING! I guess it made sense at the time, but how awesome that “Laura“ turned out to be a writer with a zillion editions of her books. 4mo

BarbaraJean @willaful Yes! An actual main character and additional recognizable characters that sometimes appear in more than one chapter! 😆 I felt the same about Laura‘s writing. 4mo

Bklover @TheBookHippie I ordered the Illustrated version about a week ago from ThriftBooks. Can‘t want till it gets here. This is, of course, after I purchased a regular copy on ThriftBooks plus a different version from Amazon (I forgot I‘d ordered ThriftBooks) So I now own three copies of a book that I kind of doubt I‘ll read a second time! 😂 4mo
