AnnRIt seems the son gets his temper and bullying ways by example from the father. I don't think “Patience, Firmness, and Perseverance“ is going to be enough to reign in these little terrors otherwise. What on earth do the parents expect Agnes (or any governess) to do, in order to get the spoiled brats to take their studies seriously.13mo
eeclaytonHere we are in 2023, and there are still many parents who let their kids do whatever they want, and then expect teachers in schools to teach them all the stuff they (the parents) have failed to. The difference is that teachers today are trained to deal with kids while Agnes has no idea what she's doing.13mo
