My 'new' is sad news, one of my oldest and dearest friends has passed. There were 4 of us when our children were young who spent tons of time together. Till we meet again Penni.💔

No electricity ⚡️ in my house 🏡 today & no WiFi due to A new fuse box being fitted so only thing to do is read and write ✍️ but now missing my coffee ☕️ so il be taking the pups 🐶 into town soon.

I spent the last few days making 45 bookmarks for my daughter's library group!!

Today is Thursday, but better late than never, I suppose. We are in the mountains this week, and the weather has been foggy/misty/rainy every day. Perfect cozy reading weather! 😀📚📚📚

I like to hike and walk, but I HATE uphill with all my soul. Since November I've put a weekly cardio workout back in my exercise routine (and I use the term exercise loosely) without fail, along with a daily 20mins walk. Went for a hike Sunday and walked half a mile uphill like it was nothing! Felt great to see my efforts paying off.

I've officially started planning my summer trip. Not sure where I'm going yet, but plan A is to find a good weekend hike to go on with pup.

My wife proposed to me on Leap Day 2020, so this is our first Engage-iversary. Unfortunately, we weren't able to plan anything special, but it is a nice reminder. She did a great job with the proposal 😁

We‘ve finally planned what we‘re doing for Keira‘s 18th. She‘s really quiet and shy but loves history and books (wonder where she gets that from🤣) so we‘ve planned a weekend in London. Going to see Les Miserable in the West End. Going to some famous book haunts including the book barge, Piccadilly Waterstones and followed by a visit to Hampton Court Palace. 🌟😱🥳
The thing is we‘ve got to wait til September 🤣🤣🤣
