It took moment, but a final decision has been reached. I‘m feelin‘ #2, but only just slightly ahead of #4. There are a lot of cool worlds in which I would like to hang out, but there are many authors that I would like to chat-up over dinner. I think that I‘m actually torn between these two options.🤷🏽‍♀️

marleed I thought about this and I‘d go with 4. I feel this deeper interest over someone when I‘ve seen them speak or perform live. Imagine how I‘d feel with a one on one with my favorite authors! 4y

Nute @NeedsMoreBooks There lies the dilemma! So many wonderful worlds from which to choose that it almost becomes an impossible task. Some worlds are a more obvious choice than others, but I think that I would go small first and then go big. So I‘m going to find my animal familiar in Lyra‘s World from His Dark Materials. 4y

Nute @marleed @BarbaraTheBibliophage I would treasure meeting an author and having the opportunity to discuss books, writing and her/his living experience. I have reconsidered reading a book after hearing an author discuss the book & read an excerpt. It had been declared a “bypass” and then my mind was changed after listening to an interview with the author. Oh yes! What if I were discussing a favorite book with a favorite author...uncontainable joy!🤗 4y

Hmm... normally 2 would appeal most (and I LOVE @Cuilin 's plan!), but I have mixed feelings about travel lately, so I'm going with the uninterrupted reading time, presuming this is, like, a time-warp thing where I get four hours of reading time without taking away from sleep or parenting or any other responsibilities. #whichwouldyouchoose

I did have to cancel my yearly trip in August, which made me sad, but then I thought about how nice it is to stay safe and sound at home. Oddly, I‘ll watch travel videos and think, “those people are not social distancing.” 🙄 So, probably not ready for consider travel, even to a fictitious community. 4y
