#TuneIntoNovember #YouKnowImNoGood You know I'm no good at getting my book club picks read early & now I must read this book this weekend as it goes back to the library Tuesday & there's a hold on it-so no renewals.🙁I'm only 20 pages in from last week.😬I think my main problem is that I'm angry at it for being 8th in a series I've not read & you know I'm no good at reading series books out of order. Max has no sympathy-he's napping😸#catsoflitsy

DebinHawaii @Booksnchill Yeah, I didn't realize when one of my co-hosts picked it (because the detective is apparently a foodie) for my virtual foodie book club that she wasn't picking the first book in a series which in my mind, you would naturally do.🤔Glad to hear you like the books at least. 6y

Skylar was only 15 when she snuck out to go on a joyride with her two besties. They drove to a secluded spot and stabbed her to death, saying later that they no longer wanted to be her friend. It took investigators months to discover that Skylar hadn‘t run away. This wasn‘t a mediocre true crime book as far as writing goes, but the story and the impact of social media was interesting. #youknowimnogood #tuneintonovember

vkois88 I remember hearing about this case on some show on ID... I didn't realize there was a book about it. Now I'm slightly intrigued 🤔 as much as I love watching true crime shows, Idk why I don't read more of them. That'll be one of my goals for next year, I think. 6y

Birdsong28 @Centique Yes it would have been very different as she was trying to stop him from abdicating and even said she would give him up so he could stay king. So this book shows a competely different side to what is usually portrayed about her. I am currently reading Another women's husband by Gill Paul (fiction) that connects Princess Diana and her as two women that were a 'problem' for the royal family its really good. 📚📖 6y
