pickI don‘t read a lot of fantasy but I enjoyed this one. I wanted to know what was happening, why these two kept living over and over, and why they were drawn together. I did not expect the explanation! Their many lives were sprinkled in through out the book and I enjoyed seeing those glimpses but I always wondered what happened to their families in each timeline.

pick5⭐️ solid YA romantasy book. Closed door/fade to black only spice scene. I cried during this story- thinking about the lives and loves we‘ve lost based on decisions or fate.
First book of June, with the French Open on in the background. The premise of this one is intriguing! I‘m still working on my summer reading stack.
So I totally mixed up which book I wanted to read… I wanted to read Our Infinite Fates by Laura Steven but grabbed Silver Elite by Dani Francis and thought that the synopsis flat out lied to me… it was just the wrong book. I have begun reading the correct one. I feel better now.
pickFor me the first 25% was fine. The middle 50% I forced myself through a 1000 year slog. Then I nearly forgot that drudgery because I loved the last 25% and even went back to some tedious middle chapters that were rather interesting the 2nd time through. Soooo, I guess that‘s a pick 🤣.

And so, in the absence of any abiding religious convictions, this was the one blind faith I had: that love was a physical force, and it was never wasted. Once it was called out into the universe, it would echo back to us forever.

so-soI was ALL in for the first 85%, but oh boy…that twist…I just could not. It felt lazy and overtly silly and it didn‘t do very much to resolve the plot in a satisfactory manner. It went from a book I‘d consider “serious” YA to “is this an 8th grade writing exercise and we‘ve hit the word count?” so shockingly I‘m not sure I‘ll ever recover.
How is the twist of this one somehow simultaneously the smartest and dumbest plot choice ever? It‘s wild.
This is an incredibly beautiful story. It's also an incredibly sad story. It is filled with so much. So many lives lived. So many deaths. From so many years. Year after year of loving and dying. And not knowing why. Not remembering what happened to start it all. But when that final answer comes your jaw will drop. It will floor you. Unpend your heart.

I got a new bookcase (with doors!) last night so trying to figure out how I wanted my books on it was top priority; I do have to say that doing that while sick felt like doing a puzzle 😅
pickSo... I loved the protag. Didn't care much for the love interest (BUT; 1. I don't read much romance and, 2. I think I just don't vibe with 'the one') I really did enjoy this. I love the historical aspect, it seems decently researched, and the way queerness is presented is so interesting. Twist hooked me then kind of disappointed.
so-soI read this quickly, but ended up feeling it was a bit silly. 3 stars.

pickFlowery prose & soulmates across time are at the heart of this. Arden &Evelyn are fated 2be together in every lifetime; however, they‘re also destined 2 kill each other in each one.
The past lives were interesting & varied, but the callback 2them in present time made it a little redundant to the past lives chapters.
I enjoyed the mystery of why they had 2die before their 18th bday & only wish the reason would have been a little more fleshed out.
