Lumberjanes Vol. 1 | Grace Ellis, Noelle Stevension

Random question while I‘m reading this. What app or website do you use to log your reading library aka your books? I am wanting to start logging them so I‘m not constantly asking myself while I‘m out if I have this book.. lol

laurieluna Library thing. They own Litsy! Great way to catalogue and sort your library 6y
Traci1 LibraryThing. I have a Goodreads too, but I find LT easier to navigate. That may be because it's what I used first, but I still prefer it. 6y

TheLibrarian Goodreads and LibraryThing 6y
Redwritinghood GoodReads mainly. 6y
Jas16 I use LibraryThing it track what I own. 6y
DefyingGravityBooks Thank you 6y
DefyingGravityBooks Does LibraryThing cost money? I‘ve read a couple places that after you log so many books you have to pay. 6y

I read this ARC for my first roll of #romanceopoly. It wasn‘t the greatest. Too underdeveloped and short for me.

Great book! Would recommend it! Great characters and there is a lot of diversity among the characters. The title is also fitting. This is a classic Gayle Forman book. Quick and great read for sure.

meganmayfair Just ordered this. Looking forward to reading it! 7y

I have been going back and forth lately about starting an Instagram. Part of me wants to but another part of me doesn‘t. Does anyone have Litsy and Instagram? Does anyone use both? Pros? Cons? Other thoughts? I just would like some opinions. Thanks!

AngelErin I use both! I think both are fun. 🤪 7y
Jess7 I have both. I use them similarly but different. Feel free to check mine out and follow me if you get it. www.instagram.com/thegreeneyedreader 7y
laurieluna I'm actually thinking of getting rid of mine because it's also owned by Facebook which I got rid of last year. It is similar to Litsy except the feed isn't chronological and there are a lot of ads. I actually prefer Litsy. Lots of pretty photos on bookstagram though! 7y
booksensation I have and use both.. some of the people I have on Instagram don‘t have a Litsy and vice versa so it‘s not like I‘m looking at the same posts. I enjoy it and usually use the same posts for both. The one thing I dislike is the algorithm.. but i enjoy the pretty pictures and connections.. plus most authors have Instagram and not Litsy so I stay up to date there as well.. 7y
StephanieGeiser I use both but in different ways. While I reuse some photos between accounts, I also document other hobbies, interests, and life events on IG that just don‘t quite fit on Litsy. Plus, I have many friends who are on IG but not on Litsy (yet 😏). You can check out my feed to see what I‘m talking about at www.instagram.com/stephaniegeiser 7y

Just got a first to read! I‘m excited! #firsttoread

DefyingGravityBooks @BookHoarder32 I‘ll definitely share what I thought when I‘m done. Crossing my fingers that I‘m done by the end of the month. With how excited I am, I still am in the middle of a few books as we speak and want to finish those first. 7y
DefyingGravityBooks And especially since the book comes out at the end of the month :) 7y

Finally read it! Loved it! I could relate to the characters and could picture the setting. I also didn‘t mind the alternating points of view. Great writing style. At the beginning, Galen and Emma meet by running into each other (literally). When they touch, they sense a connection. What does the connection mean? Recommend to young adult book lovers. #ya #youngadult

This was my last book for February. I did not like it all. The only reason that I gave this book a one was because I personally knew the setting. #ya #youngadult

I have questions for the Litsy community: 1) What are your thoughts on BOTM? Is the cost worth it? 2) Has anyone tried Amino or Books Amino? What are your thoughts on the app?

Jess7 I have #Botm - I‘m not super happy with them lately, but I think their customer service is really good. I think the price is mostly worth it. If you search the #Botm tag you can see what others have posted about it. It gets mixed reviews. Never heard of the other thing you mentioned 7y
DefyingGravityBooks @Jess7 I thought of searching the hashtags but I wanted to try a personal way first. I also am still newer to the community and want to get to know those who I follow/follow me. 7y
Jess7 Yeah of course! Just trying to help! I think there are a lot of mixed feelings on it lately. People are upset lately with some of the changes they have done. I miss the judges, the judges‘ blurbs, and the specialized bookmarks 7y

DefyingGravityBooks @Jess7 What changes have they recently made? I‘ve also noticed they are advertised more lately.. (edited) 7y
Lovesbooks87 I have been a botm member for almost a year and a half and I love it. I think it is a good deal for getting hard back books. I have also read so many great books that I would have never read if not for them! 7y
TheLibrarian I think BOTM is worth it even though I‘m less than thrilled at some of their changes like @Jess7 said. It‘s a great way to find books that you might not have noticed before, it‘s not that expensive for a brand new hardcover book, and sometimes you get books ahead of their pub date. And I‘ve never heard of the other things you mentioned. Hope that helps! 7y
Redwritinghood I think the price is good, especially if you add the extra books for $9.99 each. I‘ve been happy with selections and you can always skip if you don‘t like anything that month. 7y
The_Heeler_Booklife I really love BOTM. The price is good for an adult book. Also, if you want extras it is $9.99, which is even better. I have the yearly plan so right now it isn‘t a worth getting extras until they change it to allow me pay for them instead of wasting credits. Also, I tend to not really know upcoming adult books since I tend to read a lot of YA, so for me it helps me read more adult and branch out more. 7y
YouReadMyEyes I think BOTM is worth it. It‘s a good deal if you want newly released hardbacks. I also have a subscription with Scribd. Scribd is $8.99 a month for unlimited books (e-books and audiobooks). I think it‘s an excellent deal, especially if you like audiobooks. Their audiobook selection is great (a lot of the same books as BOTM). 7y
Beachesnbooks In my opinion the cost is good for what you're getting, and I like that you have a range of options (and can skip as many months as you want) if the books don't interest you. Other book subscription boxes leave you with only one option for the book which is why I haven't liked any of them (i'm picky 😂) 7y
Jess7 If you decide to join #BOTM you can use this referral link to get a free book and it gives me a free credit too: https://www.mybotm.com/dcbuxn8jp7dgqfr 7y

Second haul from Book Outlet! #bookoutlet #ya #youngadult

Readingismyescape Great haul! I enjoyed The Program. I recently read the Unwind series and I loved it. I jumped from one book to the next and never got tired of it. I listened to the audio and it was great. 7y
DefyingGravityBooks @Readingismyescape I read the first book recently and saw that Book Outlet finally had it. So I just bought it so I could read it again in the future. I will hopefully get to the second soon. 7y

After reading Thirteen Reasons Why, I had high expectations for this book. I enjoyed the characters and I enjoyed the storyline. However, there was a lot left to be answered throughout. Plus my major issue was the abrupt ending. #ya #youngadult
