Though my vote for 2018‘s Worst Read Award 🏆 goes to Modelland. There were plenty of wtf moments that made me hysterically laugh out loud and probably had my neighbors wondering about the lunatic they live next to. As bizarre as the writing style may be; this wackadoodle book did get me through an intense and stressful drama going on in my life.

Thanks for the smize Tyra, but seriously don‘t quit your day job.

Well apparently today was a good day for buying books. Got some awesome deals!

1. Me during my modeling days on Easter Sunday 😂🐣🐤🐇
2. Got to hear my baby's heartbeat for the first time yesterday 💕👶🏻💙
3. Bratva - a Sons of Anarchy book tie-in. I almost squealed when I saw it at the discount store yesterday! 🏍
4. Just burned 2,000 calories. That's the last time I leave brownies in the oven while I nap. 🤓😎
5. Depends on the day - sometimes up to an hour and a half! 😱

What is the weirdest book you've ever read? I'm trying to read weirder books...

As you may remember, this is the weirdest book I've read so far.

What can I say about Modelland that I haven't already shared with you?
This book is bonkers. It is poorly written by a delusional egomaniac with the loosest grasp on physics and the English language. It was written on a Blackberry and reads exactly that way. It is a very bad book.
That said, it is a masterpiece of nonsense and absurdity.
If you have a few hours to kill you should pick this up (at the library) just for the experience.

Tyra keeps inventing words and objects and never explains what they are.

Creamy REALLY hates when The Myrracle dances... because... idk... dancing isn't modeling?

Tyra never really explains why dancing is so bad. But it makes me think of how hard she was on dancers who competed on ANTM...

OH NO! The Belladonna wanted Creamy and The Myrracle to catch the Pilgrim Plague!

The Pilgrim Plague, for those not in the know, is an illness/madness that affects girls not selected on T-DOD to become a Modelland Bella...most die from it, but not our Creamy...

I have less than 100 pages lefts in Modelland... Miss J give me strength!

All the Doctors in Modelland are born with roller skates for feet...

Who was Tyra writing this books for? The vocabulary of the narration is ALL. OVER. THE. PLACE.

Still reading this gem... I give myself three hours before I go full on fierce.

Also, I am 100% imagining that Runway Diva Coach Extraordinaire™ Miss J. Alexander is the narrator of this book.

You guys... I can't even with this book! I'm dying.

I've been binging old seasons... sorry, I mean CYCLES... of America's Next Top Model and was suddenly compelled to run out to the library and give this one a shot.

I haven't finished the first page and it's already BONKERS.

Beginning: BAD
Middle: Pretty good
End: Eh, not my favorite
Would I pick this book up again? Definitely not...but I am glad I read it because it was a fun experience :)

All 3 of my kids are reading in their beds...be still my heart! Now time for me to finish Modelland and get some feline snuggles!

I will admit after the first chapter I was very skeptical, but this book is slowly getting more interesting :)

I have a feeling after only one chapter this is not going to be one of my faves lol...

I have a stack of books (waiting to be donated) that could qualify for #threwitacrosstheroom but in all honesty aside from never actually throwing a book the only book I can think of in recent history that mad me mad enough to consider throwing it was The Concubine's Daughter by Pai Kit Fai. I actually never finished the book and ended up giving it to my mother in law.#photoadaynov16

My choice for #threwitacrosstheroom is Modelland. I couldn't even finish it, because it was just so ridiculous. Tyra Banks should just stick to modeling.
