Out of the Graceling series this was the one that I felt was so out of place. I did have the opportunity to read Bitterblue before Fire and honestly I‘m glad I did. If I read the books in publication order I would be so confused. It‘s interesting to see the other world not so far away but it sounds like it should be its our series, not tied to the story we know. It was a great adventure though!

This was a book full of twists and turns. My stomach was in knots at the end trying to figure out how Cashore was going to bring the readers any peace. Bitterblue has been a loveable character since Graceling and you get to see her growing into her role as queen and trying to solve the mysteries of her father‘s reign. Be prepared for a lot of mystery and intrigue as you go through the queen‘s reign.

This was a great read that I‘m sad I held onto for such a long time. From the world building to the character development it was a great tale of love, friendship, trust, and politics. The introduction of a Grace was such an interesting idea that always made the reader think twice about if someone was a friend of foe. Great read!

This is a super cool tale involving themes of Peter Pan. There are many twists and turns that the story takes you on it makes the book go by very fast. It was a truly enjoyable story with lovable characters.

It‘s so interesting to read how Ansel came up with his recipes and how he looks at the world through the eyes of a baker. It‘s intense to see some of the advanced recipes take 3 pages of prep, baking, and assembly over many days. However you cannot rush perfection. It gives you time to learn and grow as a baker and get the difficult techniques down. I cannot wait to start baking!

Dilara Oh yes, I have this book and it is intense. I am keeping it for when I am retired and I have the time 😂 2mo
KaylasReadingNook @Dilara The intermediate and expert lessons definitely require a ton of time and dedication 😂 My husband said it wouldn‘t be so bad. I told him about the marshmallow chick in the egg and that it used a real eggshell and he thought it was an expert lesson. When I told him it was a beginner lesson he paled 😅 2mo
Dilara @KaylasReadingNook That's funny 😂. Have you made anything from the book yet? (I haven't) 2mo
KaylasReadingNook @Dilara I haven‘t yet myself but I am planning to this summer. Trying the early recipes and building up to the more extreme 😄 2mo

This is such a wonderful book to have in my back pocket. Whenever I need a place to turn to about small spells I just have to pull out my phone. The author is relatable and really loves sharing her experiences. This was an interesting and helpful read!

Was a heartwarming tale from The Golden Girls. Sometimes in tough situations you just need a Sophia to tell you it‘s going to be okay. Or a good old St. Olaf story from Rose. This is a great coffee table book about living life to the fullest while still being smart about it.

This is one of the coolest mysteries I have ever read. Aiden Bishop has one job, find out who murdered Evelyn Hardcastle. But solving this puzzle will not be easy. He has eight host that he must journey through and use their personalities to his advantage. And he only has one name on his mind, Anna. Who is Anna? Who is Aiden? And who killed Evelyn Hardcastle? Only time will tell.

dabbe Beautiful view! 🤩🤩🤩 3mo
KaylasReadingNook @dabbe thank you! It was a wonderful place to read at in Hawaii 😄 definitely want to go back and read there again 😄😄 3mo
KaylasReadingNook @dabbe where is your favorite place to read? Or what is your favorite view to read with? 3mo
dabbe @KaylasReadingNook Anywhere in front of water is lovely, lake, creek, river, or ocean. I also like to look out of my library window to our backyard; we have some lovely green trees. Thanks for asking! ❤️💜🩷 3mo
KaylasReadingNook @dabbe how beautiful! With trees or water is my favorite place to read as well. When the wind ripples through the trees and the water rushes on the shore it‘s so relaxing to read by 😁 3mo

This was such a cute and heartwarming Christmas book! Kara is a vet tech who with the help of her best friend opened a cat cafe and prays to open a low cost veterinary clinic one day. Ben is a marking specialist who‘s good deed turned into a whirlwind romance and a new friendship with a feisty kitten. From cute cats to romance this is the Christmas book for you! 🐈‍⬛

This is my favorite Christmas movie and one of my favorite books. It‘s my second read through and boy am I happy I read it again. When I was younger I was dissatisfied with the story but as I read it this time I realized the magic was beyond Christmas and not all neighbors are perfect. It‘s going to become a tradition to read this yearly and watch the movie 😁

I‘m grateful for the Hunger Games. Honestly this is always my favorite book and my favorite series. I will never get tired of opening up to that first line and diving into the story again. From my first to my third read it‘s comforting and a story that holds great meaning in my life. So I‘ll always be grateful for the series 😄 @BookmarkTavern - thanks for putting this together! #sundayfunday

I love Stephen King, but this one was a bit rough for me. He had me hooked in the beginning and the middle… then it dwindled to this mediocre long winded time of boredom. Which I understand it was setting up for the big finale. But it was drawn out more than it probably should have been. Still a great book I‘m happy to have on my shelf!

1. My favorite candy is usually Kit Kats or Twix but I‘m a sucker for any candy 😂 2. My favorite spooky book so far has been Pet Semetary. Gave me chills for days on end 😂 @TheSpineView #two4tuesday #halloween #spookyreads

GondorGirl My partner is obsessed with trying all the different flavors of KitKats. In the US we get some seasonal flavors, but in Japan they have TONS of choices. Whenever we have friends visiting Japan they bring him back unique flavors like lychee and cherry blossom, and rice cake. He's tried 55 so far. 😅 7mo

Alright, so I did not get through this one as quickly as So This is Love. Honestly it was not my favorite. I enjoyed the story, but it did not fit the characters. It just didn‘t have the Tangled feeling to it. Maybe it was because it was a character retelling the story during a story. I was very intrigued by the new hair though. Still a good book but not my favorite retelling.

What an adorable story! I‘m so glad this was my first read on my new kindle. It gave me vibes of both the original Cinderella, the Disney movies, and some hints of fan fiction. I feel as though this was mainly a cross between the first Cinderella and Cinderella III A Twist in Time. A cute feel good read when you need it! #atwistedtale #sothisislove #cinderella #kindle

A plot of revenge, and a little bit more. This is truly a wonderful classic that, while wordy and descriptive, is touching. How someone who has been wronged can fight for the rights of others and yet also find peace from their past. It‘s a wonderful book of coming to tranquility and acceptance of life‘s challenges and finding joy through difficulties.

This book was alright. It was cool to explore the lore and history behind the storyline. However, the storyline itself was a bit messy. The transitions were hard to follow, if there were any at all. Not my cup of tea but still a good short read.
