I finally found my book stack for Dewey‘s Readathon, which starts tomorrow 🤓📖
I finally found my book stack for Dewey‘s Readathon, which starts tomorrow 🤓📖
I love the new house editions of the Harry Potter books and I‘m super thrilled about the switching between designs. I think it‘ll look much better than just pure black or pure green 🤓😌🐍🐍
Do you guys like the house editions? 😊
“And I'm the worst kind of Slytherin, I'm the kind who's so stupidly in love with a Gryffindor, she can't even function.”
Leah on the Offbeat is probably the book I‘m most excited about reading this year, so far, which makes it an obvious choice to read when #deweysreadathon begins tomorrow 🙈🤓
I have a stack that contains a ridiculous amount of books, but it‘s good to have variety, so you can stop a book and start another if you don‘t like the first 😊📖
I bought this book earlier in February and I‘m super excited to read it. It sounds right up my alley, so I have high expectations 🙈
Here‘s to hoping it‘s as good as I expect 🤓
Have you guys read it? 🤔📖
Also can we just appreciate the beautiful cover! 😍
I read Simon vs. The Homo Sapiens Agenda back in January and I just fell in love with Simon, so I had to have the special edition hardback. I‘m the kind of person who collects multiple copies of books I really enjoy 🙈🤓
Do you guys collect several editions of books you really enjoy? 📖
1. Hardback, but kindle ebooks are a close second 🧐
2. European size 40/41, UK size 7/8 and US size 9/10.
3. Kanel Gifflar or sesame crackers 😍
4. Criminal Minds or CSI 🤓
5. I have no idea who to tag, so if you wanna do this then I tag you 😂

“That‘s what we do. We walk a tightrope every day. Getting out the door is a tightrope. Going grocery shopping is a tightrope. Socializing is a tightrope. Things that most people consider to be normal, daily parts of life are the very things we fear and struggle with the most, and yet here we are, moving forward anyway. That‘s not weak.”
“As a side note, don‘t you think everyone should have to come out? Why is straight the default? Everyone should have to declare one way or another, and it should be this big awkward thing whether you‘re straight, gay, bi or whatever. I‘m just saying.”
Can't believe it's been 4 months since my last post! I just kinda forgot. I actually kinda stopped using a lot of time on SoMe, so there's that... But back to this post. I participated in the October edition of Dewey's 24 Hour Readathon. It's always fun and milk and honey is probably the best book out of the 4 books I finished! It's just mindblowing!
So yesterday this badboy turned 20... Can you believe that Harry Potter has been around for that long?! This book was what got me into reading and it also made me better at English 📖🐍
This is high on my tbr list. I've heard so many great things about it! 😱 Have you read it? Did you like it? 🤓
We came to see Jace. Is he alright?"
"I don't know," Magnus said. "Does he normally just lie on the floor like that without moving?
I read this book last weekend and I really enjoyed it. I will warn you that it does include some problematic scenes, so be aware! Still 5 stars though! You can read my full review in English on Goodreads (I'm Mariesen) and in Danish on my blog, mariesen.dk 😊
So I finally decided on my book stack for #deweysreadathon this weekend and it contains 6 books: ACOTAR, More Happy Than Not, City of Bones, Girl ❤️ Girl, Letter to a Young Poet and The Stolen White Elephant. I'm 100% sure I won't finish them all, but I couldn't limit myself 🙈🤓 Are you participating in Dewey's 24 hour Readathon? ☺️
I bought the whole set last year and I have yet to read them, but I will hopefully get around to do it this year. What are your thoughts on the books? Have you read them? Did you like them? I'm really curious to hear other people's opinions 🤓
I bought this book, because I got sucked into the tv-show that's lightly based on the TMI books. I'm really excited to read it, but first I need to finish the 5 books I'm already reading 😂 I might add it to my #readathon list and see what happens 🤔
I'm thinking about adding this book to my #readathon stack. I loved the first book, so I'm curious to see if this one is just as good 🤓📖
I can't stop taking pictures of this amazing book! I love the illustrated editions of Harry Potter and I can't wait for the next one to get published 😍
I'm a big fan of Jojo Moyes' writing and so I'm excited to read this one 🤓
So I finally got my hands on this late last month and I can't wait to read it! 😱 I hope it's as good as people make it out to be 🙊
I got the most beautiful edition of Jane Eyre (and Frankenstein). I can't stop looking at it. Blue and copper, how can you not like it? It's the Penguin Classics Faux Leather Edition, just if you guys are curious 🤓 #penguinclassics #waterstones
I have all the Harry Potter books in English, but not in Danish. That's why I've decided to collect them in this edition. I only have the first 2 books, but I'm gonna get the rest asap 😍 #harrypotter
So I got these beautiful magnetic bookmarks this week and I'm so thrilled with them. They are Celaena, Chaol and Dorian 🙊🤓
So one of my reading goals this year is to read more classics. I bought the famous Penguin 80th anniversary box with 80 classics, but I haven't read any of them yet... I've also started collecting the new ones Penguin released. So here's to hoping I'll get around to reading these 🤓 #penguinclassics #classics
I got this beautiful edition of Winnie the Pooh back in December, but I only just now got the chance to photograph it. It's from The Folio Society and has the most amazing illustrations throughout the book! ❤
It is our choices, Harry, that show what we truly are, far more than our abilities.
I'm really enjoying Calendar Girl 1. I'm still in January, but I can't wait to read more about Mia and the men she has to stay with. I'm lucky enough to have all the books so when I finish this one I can go directly to the next one 🙊 Have you read them? 🤓
Newt Scamander : "My philosophy is that worrying means you suffer twice."
Jeg er lykkelig! Tænk at hun kunne lide min anmeldelse! Det er simpelthen SÅ fedt! ??
"Hvor lang tid tager det at gå fra at være en af klassens mest populære piger til at være en social taber, udstødt og stemplet af alle?"
I started reading this in Danish (a signed edition) and I love it so far! Such a catchy story/plot and it seems like a fairly easy read ☺
"Du kan får alt, når du først indrømmer overfor dig selv, at du fortjener det"
This is a free copy I got at a book fair I attended last year. I haven't read the 2 previous books so I guess I'll have to start there and work my way up to this one. I'm excited for the series. It seems really interesting and has had good reviews 🤓☺
I never got the chance to read this during Christmas so I'm saving it for December this year 🤓📖
I bought this book a couple of weeks ago and I can't wait to read it 🤓
My cat insists on helping me arrange my props when I take photos of my books 😂
It is our choices, Harry, that show what we truly are, far more than our abilities.

Although people rarely died playing Quidditch, referees had been known to vanish and turn up months later in the Sahara Desert.
Now, don't be angry after you've been afraid. That's the worst kind of cowardice.
Because I haven't yet learned the simplest and most important thing of all: the world is difficult, and we are all breakable. So just be kind.
