I adore Camilla Läckberg. Although this wasn't my favorite in the series, it was enjoyable all the same.

Which one should I read first?

QuirksAndContradictions Wow great haul! I haven't read these yet but would he them if I found them cheaply, too! 7y
dylanisreading The Dinner or The Goldfinch but The Goldfinch is long so maybe the former first. 7y
Pruzy The Goldfinch is amazing, although it is a commitment. Flew by for me while I was reading it though! 7y

I am a detective series addict. While listening to this book I was praying that this was one of many books featuring D.I. Manon Bradshaw...alas there is a second book but I have to wait until July for it to come out. I need more Manon in my life!!!

Remember how nerve-wracking starting high school was? Now imagine starting while getting the silent treatment from the entire school.
Well-written, heartbreaking and utterly raw.

I loved listening to this book. I felt absolutely transported back in time to the hot & sweaty Deep South. Albeit VERY long, it was beautifully written and a treat to listen to.

Jillsandypants I love Donna Tart. I'm going to have to try this one. 7y

The Silent Wife: A Novel | A. S. A. Harrison

Mehso-so

The Silent Wife was beautifully written, but after devouring everything Gillian Flynn has ever written and over-doing-it on Karin Slaughter- this book felt a little vanilla and tame.

Stephanie-Anne That is interesting how a book we read can "taint" how we read the next. Also surprising (for me), is when I've got one fiction and one non-fiction going at once, and it seems they inform or enhance each other. Hmm...? 8y

Heard about this book from @bookriot 's list of scariest books. It's hands down the most skin crawling, stomach turning book I've ever read. I had to take several breaks to get through its nastiest parts, so naturally I recommend it to all my friends now.

Jillsandypants I still haven't worked up the nerve (or stomach) for this 😬 8y
