pickQueen Sally is becoming one of my favorite characters. I love the storytelling, the simplicity of the characters and the themes throughout the book.

pickI didn't think I'd finish, but here we are. I hated this book the first 4 chapters and then boom I'm invested. The story is told through multiple characters, and FYI they're shitty people, as they unravel a tale of lies, deceit and multiple murders...I only finished because it was hard to put down
I'm gonna make it, I shall be done by tomorrow....or 3am , either way I finished
Will I finish the last book I packed before vacation ends ??!

pickI couldn't put it down. The story explains how past traumas of state violence continue to shape and effect the lives of the Palestinians today. It also brings to attention that the "victors" get to be the ones to record the narrative and highlights what is omitted while calling into question how reliable the "Official " narrative is

so-soI got this from my book subscription & in all honestly I was pissed to realize this was a pet peeve book, when they dress up a soft core porn romance as something else...but it was pretty well written with a decent storyline that I wanted to find out. pickThis book was insane, I actually dropped it as I physically reacted to a scene of horror. (Which never happens)
The characters are extremely unlikable and its a bit over the top, but damn if it didn't get me caught up in a story and entertained by where it went.
What if everyone who says, "Being gay is a choice" are in fact choosing to be straight and suppressing their gay urges and they assume that's everyone's experience ?
