Just finishing up the Week 1 reading for this book! It already has me hooked! Thanks for hosting #Oliviabuddyread @sblbooks !
I really enjoyed parts of this book, and other parts I didn‘t. Overall, I thought it was okay. I was a little disappointed, considering the hype and awards this won!
What would you do to spice up your marriage? This couple takes it to the next level!
I quickly got through the last half of this book! That‘s when things started to get exciting for me! Read it to find out more!
There was a lack of suspense and excitement in this book for me. I found this strange considering the multiple murders that took place...
A quirky, fun novel about Bernadette and her family. After I got over the no actual chapters— I really enjoyed this tale of mishaps and adventure.
This book was so good! I‘m not usually a huge fan of historical fiction, but this book drew me right in!
What sacrifices would you be willing to make to do what is right, or to help those you love?
If you haven‘t picked this one up yet, you need to!
Not my typical pick, but this book surprised me a bit! I really got into it in the last half. I‘m glad I picked it up!
I thought I had this books all figured out... not quite! A quick read!
I got stuck in this book!! It took weeks to read. I have a hard time bailing on books, but if I did bail on books, this would have been one of them! Although, I did enjoy the last 50 or so pages.
I should have known better! I usually don‘t like “the other side of the story” books. I almost bailed on it, but decided to finish it up.
Not the best book, but it kept me entertained!
I was not a huge fan of the way this book was organized. You find out the end result really early on, and then the rest of the book is filling in the details from the middle. Overall, it was a good book. A story about a young woman that is abducted, The Good Girl is told from three different perspectives, the kidnapper, the victim‘s mother, and the detective in charge of the case.
Set in 1945, Maddie goes on a journey with her husband and his friend to find the Loch Ness monster. She had no way of knowing how this trip would change her! Not a bad read, but also not a page turner.
This book grabbed me from the beginning! I started it last night and made myself stop reading to sleep. I picked it right back up this morning and didn‘t stop reading until the end! A creepy read for sure! I might think twice before hitting up a rest area again!
This book started a little slow, but I really enjoyed it! I was definitely able to visualize the setting based on my one summer at Girl Scout camp! Thank goodness my experience was not the same as Emma‘s!
The first half of this book was so confusing!! It‘s told from the perspective of different characters, in different periods of time. It took a while to get used to it. Once I figured out what was going on, I began to enjoy the story.
I have such a hard time with audiobooks!! The only time I listen to them is on long car rides. I think I would have liked this more if I had read it. Not giving up on Bosch yet!
So excited!! My bestie @CatsCoffeeAndBooks gave me this #bookhaul of her read books!! So excited to dive into this pile!!
M—Thanks for being a book buddy! ❤️❤️❤️
“After all, I was a bit crazy. And I didn‘t even have to pretend to be good at it. I was a damn natural.”
Enjoying this book so far! I‘ve definitely had a few good laughs!
A story about how one night can change everything. Once I started this book, I couldn‘t put it down!
Who was responsible for the crime?! I had guessed wrong!! I love a good who-done-it!
I had periods of time where I was really into this book, and other times I didn‘t love it. This book lets you into the irrational, creepy thoughts of a stalker. How far will Joe go to get the girl he wants?? Next stop—“You” the lifetime series. I an anxious to see how they bring this book to life!
I learned about this book right here, on Litsy! Michael Connelly does not disappoint with this first novel in the Harry Bosch series! I am hooked and will be reading more! Now, just wondering.... how many do I need to read before checking out the TV series?? Thoughts?
Does it really get better than reading a good book in bed? This was my first Kristin Hannah book and my first #buddyread ! Thanks to @EadieB ! The Great Alone is a story about a family leaving the busy life in Seattle and moving to the wilderness in Alaska, where only the strong survive. Check it out!
A quick holiday read! It reminds me of my family, because it wouldn‘t be Christmas without a little family drama... haha!
It took me a long time to pick up the second and third book in this trilogy. I was so angry after reading “Me Before You”. I am so glad I finally decided to give it a chance!! I really enjoyed all 3 books of Louisa Clark‘s story!
