I started reading and collecting manga long long ago. And I‘ve noticed how prices have increased over the decades. I pulled a few old volumes to compare. The cheapest in my collection was $7.95, but average back then was $8.99
(VIZ Media most affordable). VIZ Media is still most affordable with the cheapest at $9.99, and average at $11.99.

This is such a fun read (yes, it‘s violent). Readers get to see a more members of the Order in action and find out the identity of X/Slur!! Vol 6 ended with quite the cliffhanger so of course I had to order the next several volumes 😆👍

Hell‘s Paradise, vol 4
Each volume gets better. Readers not only learn about the characters backstory (how they ended up imprisoned) but also information about the island and the beings that live there (tan and tao).

Kaiju No.8, volume 1
Sci-fi creature genre are not my usual reads, HOWEVER this series is awesome. I really enjoyed season 1 of the anime and knew I needed to add the series to my library. Why do I like it? First, the main character is a mid-aged adult (not typical adolescent). Secondly, it has humor!!! Not dark and brooding. Third, it‘s fun and I want more!!!!

I actually finished these two volumes a while back - and they great! The end of volume 24 definitely left readers wanting more. So, I went online and read it! I was too impatient 😆 And let me say it was good! I still plan on collecting the the rest of the physical volumes of course 👍
