Very good.
If you like 70‘s & 80‘s horror movies this book is for you.
If you like 70‘s & 80‘s horror movies this book is for you.
I felt I was reading the whole book waiting to see what the story was actually about. Not great felt like waste of time
Book was decent for a memoir. I just find it hard to believe. Reading almost like it was James Frey writing it. It was hard to believe everything actually happened.
If there ever was an overhyped author I think she‘s it. The book was ok at the very best. It drug on in spots, underdeveloped characters, the end was how she ends all her books. The story just didn‘t make sense once you found out the culprit and the reasoning behind the murders was incredibly stupid 🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️
This book was so good I have no words. It‘s classified a mystery. It was a tad predictable in the end but still excellent.
Sigh…..too predictable and it was just too busy. Tried to tie up many things at the end. I strongly dislike this book. There‘s nothing in it that‘s even remotely believable 😞😩☹️🤬
Omg so many twists and turns 😱 tons of suspects….excellent
Ugh so predictable and the end just nonsense so unbelievable it makes it stupid 😞
I read it was based on Stevie Nicks or the authors love of Stevie. I love her as well and the author so it seemed like a win-win. Sadly the book really didn‘t have that feel. The band members really didn‘t inspire a heck of a lot of interest and the ending YIKES....can I say friggin terrible. It made me mad to finish it. So drawn out in spots filling in with fluff and leaving you hanging at the end 🤦♀️💩🤬.
When your trying to find your next great 📚 and like the exorcist Hazle is impatiently saying put down the book and feed me .... the nerve!!!!

I wanted to love it but the story was pointless at times. With underdeveloped characters and things just thrown together it seemed without rhyme or reason. I finished it but it was a struggle
A book so good it‘s hard to understand unless you‘ve lived it I suppose. Heartbreaking it should be a must read for anyone who feels that our nation was not built on the backs of immigrants. I‘m sure the themes in this book are common for those undocumented citizens today.
This book was so good I have no words. Great historical fiction very interesting, heartfelt, heartbreaking a must read!
About 60 pages left I just couldn‘t finish it 😞
Ugh I finished it but it was about 200 pages too long and the ending was god awful!
Well interesting story and I love fried chicken, but sadly the books about 100 pages to long. At 341 pages it was dragging at the end. Nice story about family dynamics hard to believe everything lined up so nice. It‘s was a Sunshine Book Club read and usually Reese picks great books this one about 2 stars

“I don‘t think that true love means your only love. I think true love means loving truly. Loving purely. Loving wholly.”
This book definitely changed my views on love and actually made me feel better about most of the love affairs of my 20‘s. This got a but predictable at the end, but there are so many astonishing and stunning heartbreaking realizations about love in both broke my heart and healed it in one reading. Awesome book.
A modern day telling of Jane Eyre my foot. I legitimately disliked every character in this book. Jane, Bea, Eddie, Blanche all awful. I did not see the similarities either with one exception for a small part of the storyline. Not sure how this got to be a bestseller, but this book is a turd. If your in the BOTM club just say no to this one.
The good part if the book is like it‘s spending time with an old friend after time apart. That said the book was so so. It drug on and on 😩. It didn‘t really endear me to Edward after reading it. More books seem unnecessary skip to the end maybe one book at most.
I loved this book. Probably the best I‘ve read all year. So many different twists and turns. Evelyn and all of the characters were very complex. I could not put it down
Nothing mind blowing with this book. It was a light and quick read. I am a sucker for books with a library or bookstore setting.
Her 1st book Wilder Girls was a bit weird for me. Like it was supernatural beyond believable. I‘m not sure why I expected different with this one. I was to far a into it to just ditch it altogether the ending Ugh just sucked for lack of a better term.
Where‘s the end of the book. The whole thing was so bad and predictable. I find it hard to believe like a dozen characters in the book couldn‘t see through the B.S. included a licensed psychologist 🤷♀️. I‘m questioning my own judgement for actually spending money on this book and finishing it to the end 👎😭😭😭.
For those who may have watched All My Children back in the day it was like a bad Adam/Stuart Chandler storyline.
Quick pleasant easy summer read. If you love dogs with a bit of romance pick this one up.
Good read. I mean she‘s not reinventing the wheel or anything it‘s a story heard before. It‘s in the way she tells it. I feel a lot of main parts how she got her Pearl or the ending where not discussed how she got there. To me that would have made the story better more so then the individual homes she cleaned. All and all a good book. After 20 years doing social work books like these show how the system really needs to be fixed.
It‘s The Hunger Games inside a prison. I‘m sure there will be more books but they are unnecessary. I think there‘s not much more of the story to be told. It has a Terminator type element to it as well. For me I wanted to know more about the past details of the society then what will happen in the future.
I wanted to love it because I loved the others. But I just couldn‘t find myself liking any of the characters. To me the story dragged on and dwelled on stuff that wasn‘t important and the whole back end of the story was terrible. I was expecting a little bit more. We know he‘s bad the constant back and forth when you knew who Snow was made the story lousy
So I loved it until about the last 3 chapters which then felt like they were just trying to promote their independent companies. I‘m all for supporting women towards the end it got redundant. It was a good read I felt the things you wanted to know about were glossed over. All and all it was about a 3. A quick read.
The Babysitter‘s Club • too many to recall many bad words • private • indoors I hate the heat love a good ☔️ day. #weekendchat @CSeydel
Jesus I don‘t know why I keep reading her books I knew what was going to happen after chapter 1! To much hype for all her stuff and its always super predictable 😞. The best part of the book was the epilogue which is unfortunate
This book was bad bad bad bad. I can‘t even believe how long drawn out and predictable it was the end had a little twist but I‘m sad I had to read through the entire book to get to it.....a poor substitute for the last Mrs Parrish.
This was the best book in the series I think my mind was definitely blown at the end 🤯 can‘t wait for more books
I liked the book overall but it ended badly and did not provide much closure. A bit predictable as well but overall ok. I mean if you have read the first two books I guess you have no choice.
I did not like the first book but it the series got better as it went along the climax of the story was a bit lacking and the characters could have been better developed. I would have liked to know more then just the love story. All and all a good series can‘t wait for book 4 in March
