Getting ready to start my first Jennifer Hillier book!
Getting ready to start my first Jennifer Hillier book!
Just started this! Excited to read this one by Lisa Jewell, I have liked all her books that I have read so far!
Reading in the rain on my back deck is heavenly.
On to the next!
Any word on this one? 🤔
Holy Moly. What did I just read!? What just happened!? I have my own version in my head.
Verity is an author who experiences a horrible accident that leave her wanting help to complete her series……that‘s all I can say about that.
Read it.
Excited for this! I love JT Ellison‘s writing!
Have you read this one?
I love his writing! I really enjoyed this book.
Hen is suspicious that her neighbor is a killer and she is determined to find out the truth. Peter Swanson is full of surprises I didn‘t see coming! 💫
How can 1 person write so many captivating books? How are they all located in the same place, a place I have never been, and be so intriguing and different from the last. I really enjoyed this book about relationships, betrayal, and ultimately friendship and love. Just read all her books. I‘m going to. 😂
Ummm, holy cow! I loved this book. There were a lot of twists and turns that I didn‘t see coming! It was a fast and enjoyable read. 👏🏼 👏🏼
Holy Cow! What the heck is happening! I didn‘t see that coming!
Ok, I need a break from novels. 🤣 Back to my much loved mystery books. Has anyone ever read this one? Tell me your thoughts!
Ok, I struggled with rating this a pick or a so-so. It‘s not nearly as good as Firefly Lane. However, if you loved Firefly Lane as much as I did you will be glad you read it to see how the characters come along. I would say a 3/5 ⭐️ Oh bonus! I didn‘t cry. 👍🏻
I‘m 2/3 of the way through this book. I really think I‘m dragging my feet because I don‘t want this story to end, the story of Tully and Kate. It‘s just a beautiful story about friendship and what happens with them after the loss. 💫
This book carried me away and brought me into a universe of a friendship only few people probably experience. There are some challenges and feelings in their lifetime that may not get resolved but when things get hard they are always there for each other. A heartwarming and emotional read for sure.
Makes you wonder... Could you have had a Tully if you wouldn‘t have walked away? Do you have a Tully? 🤔
🌟🌟🌟🌟
Should I keep reading this? I‘m on Chapter 10, Hal has just met Mr. Treswick and he is taking her back to Trepassen House. Eh. Just eh. I need your help if you‘ve read this book. Ruth Ware is always a hit or miss for me.
That. Was. Gooood! 💫 It was such a fun read. A modern day twist on Jane Eyre, which I have never read but now want to. It has everything I like in books, mystery, murder, crazy neighbors 🤣, and multiple perspectives.
This is Rachel Hawkins first adult novel and she killed it! 👏🏼
Excited to get started on this. Hs anyone else read it?? What did you think?
This is my second Elin Hilderbrand book in 2 weeks. I am so in love with her writing. She gets you so invested in the characters and has you rooting for couples that in real life you typically wouldn‘t root for. She keeps you entertained with her romantic magical stories. And I‘m not one for romance, you know that. 💫
This was my first Mary Higgins Clark book. It was fine. 🤷🏻♀️ I heard I should read one that doesn‘t have a co-author. In any event, it was just ok for me.
Well, I didn‘t get into it until the last 1/4 of the book. However, it was a sweet story and I‘m glad I read it. Grandpa Carl was a gem of a human. ♥️
I‘m not sure what my deal is with this book, but I‘m halfway through it and still waiting for the story to start. 🙃 Anyone else?
Doesn‘t this just look dreamy!!!! It‘s a sweet used book store in an old bank basement in my small town of Show Low, Az. . 😍😍😍😍
Book 2 for 2021.
All the feels w this book! I wish I could write the captivating and charming review it deserves, but I just don‘t have the words. #jakeandmalloryforever
I‘m already in love with this book and I‘m only 64 pages in. Another non-mystery for me, what‘s up w that!?
You guys!!!! I almost quit this book, like, 3 times. I‘m so glad I didn‘t!!! It was a slow start for me, I didn‘t actually get into until about pg 148. Once you fall in love with the Walker Family and Large Marge, it‘s all over! 😍 This book is about true love, abuse, friendship, and finding yourself. I cried in several parts of the book, I don‘t typically like books that make me cry. However, every tear dropped for this book was worth it.
This was a tough decision! I read so many more books this year than I typically do in a year. I read some pretty awesome books too, I narrowed it down to my fave 5 of 2020! Happy New Year everyone! 🎉 🥂
I have heard a lot of good things about this book. Excited to start it today. Has anyone read it, what are your thoughts?
Lucy likes this book as much as I did! ⭐️⭐️⭐️.5
Emily loses her job, apartment, and acting agent all in a day. Thankfully a CEO offers her a job of a lifetime. It won‘t be long before she discovers his families secrets. Will she escape, play along, meet her demise, or get out alive...
Let‘s try this again! New author for me. I‘m not even sure how this book got on my list. Probably a post from Litsy. Have you read this one? Let me know your thoughts.
Ok, 15 minutes ago I actually thought I was going to read this. However, a severed hand, a hammer to the skull. Just seems too graphic for me. I like mystery and psych thrillers but I‘m not much for blood and guts type books. Already a bail for me. On to the next. 🤣🤣🤣
I loved this book. I loved the story, how it was laid out, and even the lengths of the chapters! It‘s definitely going down as one of my favorites. A lot of creepy suspense and twists and turns for me. 👍🏻
Y‘all the cover glows in the dark!!!! That‘s a creepy thing to learn in the dark. 🤣 I‘m halfway through this book and I am crazy about it. Every bit of it.
*Maggie lives in a “haunted house” when she is 5. Her dad writes about their experiences and becomes a famous author because of it. Maggie, as an adult, believes it‘s all lies. An event occurs that has her back at her home seeking truth and finding out more than she bargained for.
Love!
On to the next. Has anyone read this one yet? I have read a few others from Riley Sager and they are usually pretty good. This one looks...spooky.
A psychologist conducting a study on morality and ethics with a twist. ⭐️⭐️⭐️+
Hard pass. I couldn‘t get into this book because every now and again her language is so vulgar. 🤢 I‘m not into the “C” word and such being in my books, so DITCH for me.
It took a me week to read this book. It was ok but wasn‘t as good as their book “You are not Alone.” It was entertaining and somewhat predictable.
I don‘t even know what to say. This was a good read that had me in love with the characters. I felt much more emotionally invested in them and their well being than most other books I have read. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
If I‘m being honest... for a minute there I was like, I cannot get into this book. I couldn‘t get the verbiage, I kept autocorrecting in my brain. Then suddenly, it just worked. 3/4‘s and of the book to go and it‘s getting easier for me. Anyone else struggle in this way with this book?
I have been dragging my feet on this one. I hope I love it as much as everyone else. 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻
Have you read it? What are your thoughts?
You guys!!! I loved this book. I may be easy to please but I love her writing. Her chapters are the perfect size and she is very creative. 4⭐️
How do people come up with this stuff? 🙃🙃 Anyone read this yet? I‘m about 1/4 through and it is....interesting.
Got my picks from the library in case we go into another shut down. 😞 Last time we were shut down I hadn‘t picked up my books yet and it traumatized me. This time I will be more prepared. Now, where to start? Have you read any of these books?
I read this book in 24hrs. That‘s really fast for me. Overall, this was very different than B.A. Paris‘ other 3 books that I have read. It‘s definitely more of a novel than a psych thriller like her others. I was surprised to find that the end left me in tears. I typically don‘t read books like this but I‘m glad I did. #booksandcoffee
I‘m so excited to start B.A. Paris‘ newest book. I love her writing and she quickly became one of my faves! #suspense #suspense #baparis #novel #newread
It took me a minute to get into this book. Once I did though, I stayed up until it was finished. This is my second Lisa Jewell book and I am really liking her!
