I am posting one book per day from my to-be-read collection. No description and providing no reason for wanting to read it. Some will be old, some will be new - don't judge me, I have a lot of books.

Back in the day I was a massive fan of Paullina Simons especially of these two books! The last couple of books I read were underwhelming but these will always have a place in my heart #letstravelaugust @Alwaysbeenaloverofbooks @OriginalCyn620
I'm so glad that I bought The Summer Garden (#3 in the series) already, because I need to immediately start reading the next one.
This was different than the first one, but it was still great. This part of their story is so different from the first part and the writing style reflects that.
Tendentiously. Not a word you come across everyday.
"Memory‐‐‐that fiend, that cruel enemy of comfort."
How true.
I'm struggling with soldier's story for winter. #Booked2019 @Cinfhen @BarbaraTheBibliophage @4thhouseontheleft
I finished reading Tatiana and Alexander and I know that it is probably not a problem to include it, but I wanted your input. It is a fictional account of a Russian soldier who can't retreat because the NKGB will shoot him and he can't surrender because that would be considered treason by Stalin. Do you think I should look for a nf?
Is this your legacy to America?
It is not my legacy, said Tatiana, walking inside. It is my thanks.
A young Russian woman, who was naturalized, tries to help other refugees enter America after WWII ended. America wouldn't be America without her refugees.
Goodness, what a great book. And what a great quote to find on Independence Day.
Now, if only she would find her Alexander.
A poor follow up to the bronze horseman- not bad just not nearly as good
Oh, my heart. ❤️
It‘s been over a year since I read (and loved) The Bronze Horseman... I‘m trying to pace myself with this series because I don‘t want it to end. Book 2 did not disappoint.
This is a love story, but it‘s also excellent WWII historical fiction, beautifully written, and gorgeously detailed. This book gives way more of Alexander‘s backstory, while also continuing the story where Horseman left off. So good!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I‘m reading Tatiana & Alexander...
New title:
Alexander is Pretty Much Perfect and Ridiculously Hot. Also, Tatiana.
😘
#EclecticReadathon
I started late, but I‘m on my way! I have 1 1/2 books left to read for #ERMadlibs and I WILL finish them during the readathon. Also listening to the tagged book whenever I can‘t sit to read.
This is my second year of the #EclecticReadathon... I heard about it last year on Litsy and the podcast. Reading from Iowa. 😃
Really excited about the scavenger hunt this time!
I fell for it again. I hoped that the second book could give me the thrill of the first one, but I was disappointed. First of all the pace is slow, with too many flashbacks and digressions. I am not a fan of straight-to-the-point books, but here we had too many reminiscences of the past. In addition, I don't understand how the characters did not evolve: I wanted more of Tatiana and Alexander, but I read a book of strangers. stick to the first one.
Hey everyone. Sorry for not posting recently but I fell down the stairs and twisted my ankle.

So the second book in this series is painful to read because I just want them together and it doesn't happen until like the last chapter or two of the book. I know a lot of people wished the book was a standalone but I love watching their relationship grow and develop through the next two books.

A new book is waiting to be read! I think that this Paullina Simons' serie is amazing because you can understand what is the true love and how it works. Also, you can see how people used to live during the war period.
Alexander 💕😭🙌🏼!!! Omg , this book!
I am off to The Summer Garden !!
I need to get my hands on TML's Alexander candle!!

So, this book doesn't start with an A, but it does have Alex in the title. My very favorite Alex. 😍
#tbr part 1. I am terrible at following through with tbr's for the month...but here's my goal for April. I'll be happy if I read one of these in April, to be honest. Lol. #aprilbookshowers #apriltbr @RealLifeReading

Here are some of my books that have a #TitleWithAProperName. Just to the side and not pictured are all of the Harry Potter books, too. 😃

Excellent follow up to my favorite book. Couldn't have asked for any more.
