I keep an eye out for early editions of Maud Hart Lovelace's books in every used bookstore I go to. I've never been lucky enough to catch one in the wild until this past week! I sooo wanted to be Betsy. Love all the Holiday scenes in this series but especially Betsy's trip to Milwaukee.

Betsy Tacy books are the perfect comfort read for when I am low. I particularly love this book when Betsy tries to remake herself into Betsye. So funny!

I really want to settle in and read a book from this pile but I can‘t seem to get rid of my headache 😭
