THAT takes us to mid-October & finishes Vol. 5 of the journals.⤵️

It‘s funny that Betty describes nasty Nigel describes as the villain in a melodrama, because I thought of him as Snidely Whiplash from the beginning. 🤣

Also, I‘ve never seen the phrase “Hully gee!” outside of a #BetsyTacy book.

All that said, I loved this book! I think it‘s the first adult novel by FHB I‘ve read, but I‘m definitely going to read more.

Having attended multiple conventions in the past, I can't stress how incredible it is to be in these spaces and see the real-life inspiration for some of my favorite books. Will I see you in October? I remember Calling All Girls!/Young Miss—it‘ll be so much fun to read one again. The vintage ballet book is adorable, and this is a BLWW I‘ve been wanting to read.

I used to read these books all the time in grade school. I got this collection that has all the books in one and can't wait to revisit my childhood.
