I just finished this book and it was sooo good.

Jessica takes her sister, a nun turned 40yrs old, on a hot air balloon ride with 10 other strangers. They fly over a house and witness a man killing a woman.
Jessica has seen his face and he has seen hers. Now he's chasing the balloon, on his quad, the balloon crashes and all die, but Jessica, now she's on the run for her life.

Twists, and turns through out. Loved it, you will too

A murder viewed from a hot air balloon. 2 sisters (one a nun, one .. well .. not a nun) witness it. A series of twists and turns, people trafficking, CSI Northumberland, interfering locals and more unexpected moments than I could list. I know I‘m not great at working things out before they happen in books or films, but this book had me open mouthed many times. Absolutely loved it!

This story went in a totally different direction than I was expecting from the description! So many twists and kept you guessing what was going on and how the story lines connected until the end. I enjoyed it!

This is not the first page of this library book (stamped with a date only 7 months ago) that has been covered in food that looks like chocolate. I can‘t be the only one that is bothered when they see this. Please take better care of borrowed books!!!

This is the best crime thriller I've read in a while. Had no idea where it was going, lots of themes brought together very cleverly and with humour as well. It's a one off I think but would definitely check out others by the author. Recommended.

Latest book club choice. Another page turner. Really enjoyed the twists in this it keeps you guessing till the end. Lots to discuss at book club. This is a crime story and a good one.

A hot air balloon ride turns deadly when the group aboard find themselves overlooking a murder taking place, and then, slowly, the murderer takes aim at their balloon... 🎈

That brings you up to page eight and that's when the book really takes off. 😳😲 This read was a fun ride....so to speak. 😂. #catsoflitsy

I did like the story but not as suspenseful as the beginning lead it to be. Great twist just not exciting

A hot air balloon ride goes horribly wrong. The lone woman survivor is hunted by the man who brought down the balloon bc she witnessed him commit multiple crimes. Loved the unexpected twist. Well paced but the ending was way too rushed and could have been developed better.

I love Sharon's books, this was no exception. If you are not familiar with her books consider yourself lucky! You have many good reads coming your way. I am jealous!

I enjoyed this book most of the time. There were a few "Oh come on!" moments balanced with some unforeseen (by me anyway) twists which kept me reading.

Talking about the nuns 😂

I'm enjoying this Audible edition and the story is riveting but the narrator is driving me nuts. She says "Chapter a hundred and two." Instead of "One hundred and two". Petty I know, but I'm finding it sooooo annoying LOL ?

Looking forward to work today, simply because I get to listen to more of this during my commute!

The story is a bit fractured at the moment. I'm 20% in and the chapters are jumping through people and time frames.

A book about a hot air balloon ride where the pilot is shot and killed. Panic as the 12 passengers try to land it with no phone or radio signal. Glad I didn't read this a couple of weeks ago before my Balloon trip.

So excited about this win! Have had my eye on this book for awhile! Can't wait to start it!

Stayed up late to finish this page turner. Sharon Bolton knows how to do plot twists! Another good book. I felt like the end was rushed a bit. I still enjoyed it though! 🌟🌟🌟🌟 4/5 🌟
