1001 Books You Must Read Before You Die | Peter Boxall

I completed 45 books from the #1001books list this year for an updated total of 253 out of 1,318!

A few were rereads but from long enough ago that I didn‘t have dates in Goodreads. As usual, there were books I just pushed through to finish as well as fantastic reads.

Several were read for the #Reading1001 group, including 13 for #TBRTakedown. Many others were read with or for various readalong groups and challenges listed in the comments.

November was a good reading month. I finished #DraculaDaily, which was a fantastic long read. It was one of 5 #1001books completed this month, along with starting Don Quixote. I also especially enjoyed Sovietistan.

TheAromaofBooks Yay!! Fantastic month!!! I did Dracula Daily last year, but just recently checked out the bound copy from the library - it has all the snarky email headings plus random internet comments in the margins. I'm not sure I need to own it, but it's been pretty fun to page through. 5mo

TheAromaofBooks It's kind of expensive, but I have to say that it is really nice quality - an oversized hardcover with glossy pages and such. 5mo

Dracula Daily: Reading Bram Stoker's Classic with Commentary by the Internet | Matthew Kirkland

I‘m glad I finally read Dracula. I loved reading this epistolary novel on the dates corresponding to the letters. I can‘t imagine reading it out of order! Maybe next October I‘ll try to read it as Bram Stoker wrote it.

This was my first time reading Dracula and I thoroughly enjoyed it. A few times it was a little difficult to keep track when there was a long break in between, but overall it was a fantastic way to experience the story. Waiting for the next entry often built up the suspense.
